Your complaint is that he's not aggressive (doesn't have that "dawg" in him) and your original post essentially describes him as a system quarterback.
It's just not an accurate take.
"Essentially"...is your inferring not my implying. I stated what I wanted very clearly. I, like most here also watched the all 22. He made some weak decisions to check it down or make the safe throw quite a bit. Was it first game jitters? I don't know. Remains to be seen. I don't knock optimism. He probably will be very good. Probably isn't guaranteed, so behaving as though someone seeing signs is hating or way off base is ridiculous.

So now the strawman arguments begin

It's not bad for being different from mine. It's just bad.
Not every quarterback is a gunslinger. Nor should they be. Hell, some of the best of all time were "safe". It's part of why they were successful.
Good quarterbacking isn't limited to one style of play.
Never said he should be a gunslinger nor that part about limiting QB play to one style. Smh

There's a bit of a difference between safe and cautious. At times last week he was cautious but in college he certainly played aggressively when he needed to. He was a play maker by extending plays etc and I think we will see more of that as he grows... I remember some pre draft videos where he was fitting the ball into windows that would be called risky.
I can see and respect your perspective

That's because it was a lousy take.
Young is, by all accounts, the kind of guy who lives and breathes football, similar to if Luke Kuechly were a quarterback.
It's a big reason why they trust him...and indication so far are that they should.
It's mine. Why should I be concerned because yours differs from mine. I simply do not think he is aggressive. He is safe. If I'm proven wrong so be it. Never said I disliked the kid. You all are hilarious.

Dawg is subjective .. but to dive into this one who are some QBs in the league you think have it?
I could see mahomes, cousins, lamar, and baker.Yes all of them. That's all I'm saying. Delhomme, Flutie, Breese, Burrow, he'll even PJ. Some guys have it some dont.

psshhhh dawg traits are for punters, kickers, and long snappers. Not QBs...
Lol. They are going to ratio me to death Bro...but I'm serious. I don't hate the kid, however, that's not going to matter.

Bryce doesn't have that dog in him, IMO. Maybe he can use skill and scheme to be successful. He has all the tools. I just have never seen him be an aggressor or tenacious. He doesn't go hunting. He just kind of let's things come to him.

Burns, as good a pass rusher as he is at times, has been one-dimensional and not made plays at critical times his entire career. This has been discussed for years and is just more prominent now given the contract spotlight. Burns should go for all he can get, sure, but it can make things contentious for fans that put the team over the individual players that come and go.
I get it. I understand how it works. I also have read the Bosa vs Burns stats. Fitts didn't move him. He has to pay him.

Sounds as if you have the issues there buddy. Apparently by what you are saying anybody who has an opinion that differs from yours MUST be crapping on something or someone for no reason. Relax cupcake, it is possible that others do have an opinion that is either slightly different or completely different from yours and it is even possible for their opinions to have some sort of substance without just wanting to poo on players as you lump them all in. Take a deep breath and relax. You might even try going to have a bowel movement, as you sound cranky constipated.
You simply can't help yourself can you?

Because their opinions may differ from yours I take it?
No. Because they are quick to sht on players for no reason. OMG Burns wants to get paid. All of a sudden he's overrated, etc. Take your issues elsewhere I'm not interested in going back and forth with you.

2 scores down and no visible urgency or extra energy. Wat.
It's just the preseason....wait...

Bryce Young is shook and one of his supposed attributes is 'he's been there" and the situation is never too big for him. Next week will show us if he has the heart to lead this team.
-
To watch an offensive performance, just as terrible as this preseason and imply that fans are mad and disappointed because young didn't throw for "400 yards," is peak.

This is probably the most anticlimactic Panthers opener I've ever experienced. This sht was Luke warm as hell.
-
Playing like a dude that has his gf with him every practice.
-
What is this? I don't even know what the fk we are watching. We shall see what happens but we look like a damn practice squad.

Atlanta is not good. This team just may be awful.

These mfs are throwing go routes from the damn 1 yard line.

This is the preseason team we saw, with better blocking.

Indeed. I agree. And I thank you for that.
