I just hope they suck but don't suck bad enough to land a top prospect. Basically, pull a Tepper era Panthers.
Ideal situation they just fall apart on defense
-
Hope Rattler gets the start and plays well every time but when we play. He put up with A LOT of bs last year.

Hard to justify not keeping him through camp though before you see what your young guns can do.
Watching games last year he was one of the few on defense that seemed to give real effort the majority of the time. -
Analysis from Smitty.

Booooo Cleveland broke first.
Should have made him an UDFA just to prove a point. -
Even the foreigner knows theyre not the real USC
" UCS" -
What bowling balls are left?
Rocket Sanders and who? -
Damn.. thought he was gonna fall to us there. I was ready!!!

I was nervous about the Walker pick. I was a tad concerned with having so many 1 on 1s on a defense like that the production wasn't as high.
Then again I got to watch Kyle Kennard stat pad all year.
I dont hate going BPA as long as we go defense heavy the rest of the way. We need competition bad on that side of the ball.

Almost sounds like you're just drafting Mike Davis. Which isnt a bad pick per say depending on where you do it.
-
Well we loaded up on DL. So for me we're still missing A LOT of help at linebacker.
Not saying it needs to be the first pick but it needs to be addressed early and probably more than once.

Need a power back akin to Foreman. Guys don't wanna tackle them late in the games.
-
I'd like a downhill guy towards the mid to late.
If Rocket Sanders slips thats the type im wanting.
Havent had a guy like that since Foreman-

The "factual" thing is those teams lost those games. The emotional thing is the "players didn’t play, transfer portal, etc."
That has nothing to do with what actually happened.
Remember the FSU "We WeRe ThE rEaL nAtIoNaL cHaMpS!!" horseshit? How did that end up working out for them?
If you spend your time crying and making excuses, what message does that team get from you as a coach?
That's fine if they lost at the state of their roster being what it is. But to pretend any of the teams are the same is just wanting to just for the sake of trying to push a story especially the Big vs SEC crap based off of it. It's dumb.
Nothing about it is the same as the regular season. You get different players a different prep schedule and different coaches.
I was irritated yesterday because I had to watch bad football and bad officiating I didn't really care who won.
Take these games for what they are. They're exhibitions at best and nobody should care what happens in them until entire teams have to suit up at full strength. 5-10 years ago we could care. The NIL space has changed all of that.

Every "I SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN THE PLAYOFF" team lost so far. Clemson was not in the class of basically any of these teams.
We've gotta quit thumping this narrative as factual given who did or didnt suit up. Thats the reality of non CFP bowl season. Portal,Coaches gone, players not playing or quitting mid game.
It's just not realistic. If you cheer for a conference knock yourself out. But what a team did week 1-12 has maybe even less than zero to do with a bowl game. -
Little irritated i even sat though that. Players quitting and a bunch of Busch league bs.

Why play to begin with. I just don’t get the logic
I'm really not sure
Just opt out like Kennard and Sanders did if that's what you're gonna do.

Illinois faking injuries now on top of it.
Ole Miss did it about 20 times earlier this season.
-
Nick Emmanwori apparently pulled a Cam Ward and quit at halftime as well.
-
SC game officiating is completely one sided
its ridiculous. Just like the LSU game.

Eddie has been bad ever since he got in all time accuracy talk. Since that's happened he has been fuging bad.

Only to get blown out but a team than like the Lions because we actually have to score consistently. Not 150 yards a game.
I can't help what plays are called. We run the ball and chew a lot of clock. I'm more speaking on his efficiency lately just throwing the ball.
Taking more shots. Deep middle, back shoulder etc.
Merely that the way the offense is operating overall is a lot better.
