I think it's important to point out that OP has proved time and time again on this board that he would be exponentially more insufferable than the Tepper's if he owned a professional sports team.

It's his first season in the NFL. Many of you complaining about him are the same ones talking about how trash Derrick Brown was just one year ago, and now he's a beast and accounting for like 75% of our defense. It's really too early to judge DJ, but since we suck right now, people are looking for scapegoats.

We have to be real, he's the owner for the foreseeable future and won't recuse himself or sell. So here's my only solution, we need a team President.
When Mr. Richardson fired his sons, he hired a team president. We need a Danny Morrison, someone who knows football, real estate, local politics to help navigate the franchise and report back to the Teppers. Someone who can really pick a GM, help negotiate leases, etc. This way Mr. Tepper gets all the face time he wants but has hired someone who actually knows what the heck they are doing
Maybe you should find Tepper's home address online and mail him a handwritten letter like you did with Jake Delhomme...

Chicago is going to significantly improve overnight.
They legit have a chance to have the #1 and #2 pick in this draft. Imagine them walking away with Caleb Williams and Marvin Harrison Jr.
They'll still fug it up somehow.

I was lucky enough to be a huge Skins fan during the Joe Gibbs era and see them win 2 rings. Those were some great teams and so much fun to watch. As for the Panthers, I think we’ve seen the best years in the rear view. As long as Tepp owns them there won’t be a Super Bowl.
This explains a lot.

Quit playing; you’re not leaving. You’re going to watch every game and shitpost your ass off. This is prime time for a hater like you, and Reich has laid out a virtual smorgasbord for you.

And you were stupid enough to believe them?
There were a lot of reasons you hated Philly. That was just one of them.

I disagree but don’t blame you for being pissed off. He looks absolutely awful, but it’s the beginning of the season, so I’m going to try and remain optimistic.

Nah. The kid is lost. I mean lost. I don’t mean to be rude and I get he’s a rook. But nah.
I remember when someone posted a photo of you in the Tinderbox. Picturing that guy making comments like this is super funny.

These athletes make big money to put up with/ or ignore fan comments, it is the cost of doing business in the spotlight.
If the comments on the Huddle break Horns heart, just add that to list of breaks.
JC Horn was the 8th player taken off the board and the first defensive player that year. He had a NON CONTACT foot injury that took him out his rookie year, and another NON CONTACT injury this year to sideline him for an unknown substantial amount of time. Add that to the injury last year.
We invested heavily in him, and the roi hasn't been there because he hasn't been there. If any of us took a new job and then were unable to work 50% of the time, we'd be looking for work.
Some people use the term bust to describe players who don't produce to their projection, including injury derailments. Others insist that the term bust must refer only to players who are on the field, but don't perform.
In any case, its a busted 1st round pick to date, and there doesn't appear to be much hope for that to turn around.
LOL, you're exactly the type I'm talking about. They make big money for their athletic ability, not for their ability to take abuse from internet losers. Make sure to bring an extra shirt if you have to take the stairs today!

Jaycee Horn is an elite talent, and proves it whenever he's healthy enough to play. He's absolutely proved that he belongs in the NFL. He didn't have a significant injury history in college, and he's been preparing like a pro for years thanks to his father. I don't know how anyone can call him a bust. He's had a disappointing pro career so far, but no one is more disappointed than him, I'm sure.
These guys are human beings. Elite athletes, who are typically carefully managed, but still human beings, who have access to the Internet. It's got to be infuriating when you're doing everything in your power to get on the field with your teammates, and see a bunch of guys, most of whom sweat through their shirts walking up one flight of stairs, call you a bum and a bust.

I only have 1sr and 2nd round picks on my list.
1. Eric Shelton RB
2. Everette Brown DE
3. Rashad Anderson CB
4. Bruce Nelson G
5. Rae Carruth WR (has to be on here)
Can't have Clausen on the list because he brought us Cam.
Bruce Nelson was injuries. I remember being so excited that we got him AND Gross in that draft. Was really sad what happened w/ his hip.

It’s going to be a long season, but I still believe it will end on an upward trend.

Ickey put his man on the ground the very next play, but Theilen whiffed the catch. He’ll be fine.
