Not true at all.  They can sue whomever they want....it may just not be sustainable.  In this case they may very well have a legitimate cause of action.

If KC knew he had an issue with substance abuse and hired him anyway, especially if he was known to do it and drive, it could be negligent hiring.  If he was on his way to work or was called in while drinking, it could be respondeat superior.  It depends on CO law.  But nonetheless, I wouldn't be surprised if the family sues KC as they have deep pockets, and this child will have significant medical needs for a long time due to this accident.

Knowing someone has issues with substance abuse and hiring them is one thing. Be liable for someone else’s screw up that is in no correlation to their company or franchise is another. They have no chance in hell on getting any money from suing KC organization.

    1. they did not tell him to wreck

    2. they did not knowingly supply him with impairing substance that could contribute to the wreck.

    3. They are not responsible for his actions that are completely outside their franchise.

Eh not really. What makes it hard is when you have an owner who knows nothing hiring coaches that know nothing.

Never thought Rhule deserved the job. Didn’t do poo in college. Now you put him in charge of personnel and he seems desperate rather than calculated. Overcorrection never works.

You are the stereotypical person that goes into a room at a job site or some business and acts like they know way more about how to do their job than the people who actually work there.

  3. Gov of New York is talking about  shutting down NYC for 9 months. That crap right there is unsustainable. Something will give. You cannot shut down an economy like that for 9 months.

CDC is recommending healthcare workers just cover up w a scarf or something If they don’t have a mask. Kind Of reminds me of WWI when they told the troops in the trenches that if they pee on some flannel and put it over their mouths, that the chlorine gas wouldn’t kill them. Lol.

Hope you guys don’t have a loved one in healthcare. I do.....

Mask do not do anything to prevent you from getting it. They are only for people who already have it.

all I can say is, this government shutdown of the economy cannot be sustained for much longer. You cannot shut down the economy for a virus like this. Would tank the economy to levels we have never seen.

Bob Evans? Only old people go to Bob Evans......oh poo....he's trying to get rid of their olds. Damn.

I’m not old and go to Bob Evans sometimes. They are a good place to go to before hitting the road for a long distance family trip

I was just outside and saw in the distance two helicopters...military. Not a reassuring thing to witness during a massive virus pandemic. Hopefully they're just training in case of the worst. Or do the higher-ups know something we don't?

Yea they are on their way to kill the hordes of Zombies...*rolls eyes*

I still have three grandparents alive. My former next door neighbor who I still keep in touch with is 82 years old. I give a poo about those people. I'm not really scared for myself but to be honest, yeah I am scared for those people.

I did not say to not give a crap about the elderly. Yes we have to help them out and be vigilant. I was going to let my 90 year old great Aunt see my daughter (who is 19months) old for the first time last week, but I decided against it because my wife is still feeling sick from being pregnant and I didn’t want to chance it. So yes I do care about the elderly and family members of my own who are old.

You’d be surprised how many people totally don’t care about their fellow Americans.

I’m not surprised. I know. I will do my part, but yes a lot of idiots out in this world.

Fox news doctors maybe.  I'd do some further research if I were you.  The ones that say "I'm not scared," are the first to get it.

I’m “informed” not scared. This virus affects elderly and people with chronic dieases. If people we dying that are young and healthy and children, then it would be a different story.

medical community has stated numerous times that “‘majority” of people getting Cv-19 will only experience mild symptoms.

My primary source of information on this is a good college friend who is a PhD who previously worked for the CDC and is currently a professor at Johns Hopkins specializing in infectious disease.

You shouldn't be scared, but you should be aware and you should try to take precautions to avoid the spread of this disease to try to help protect the types of people who you just patently dismissed.

Well yeah...if I’m coughing or think I have it I’m not going to go to the mall and give it to everyone. Yes everyone should be vigilant and act with precaution. I just think this massive “freak out” from the public is unwarranted.

Do math. 4000 dead out of 22 million cases = 0.02% mortality rate. That's roughly in line with the common flu. Right now the global average is 3.4% mortality rate. That's 748,000 dead out of 22 million cases. I said earlier that South Korea is probably our best case study for the true mortality rate. It's 0.6%. That's still 132,000 dead out of 22 million cases.

Last flu season resulted in an estimated 35 million cases. Covid 19 is a little over twice as contagious as the seasonal flu.

Not trying to scare you but is it starting to make sense now?

Sorry I’m not scared. Virus only affects elderly or people with chronic respiratory issues.
the way people are panicking right now you would think body carts would be coming to our neighborhood during trash days.
I listen to the experts (ie: doctors) and all experts are saying that the media is blowing this way out and have no idea what they are talking about. Basically saying stop reporting on medical issues you have no clue about.
