Just curious as to why Stroud’s game against Michigan is concerning, but not Young’s against UGA for the championship? I prefer Stroud because I think he has the lowest floor, but I won’t complain if we draft Young.
Just checking but you mean highest floor right? Low floor is a negative thing

He got picks for island boy, little, and daley........
Thats for sure are finesses.
He got DJ to sign a trade friendly deal along with team friendly when jokers like kirk and jones were getting high 18 million and didnt do 1/4 of what DJ done.
He is the #1 GM in getting trade value on his side form trading draft picks.
No GM is perfect bro, no one makes many moves and batts 1.000.
Besides the darnold trade, most of the deals have very little risk and high reward. Which in my book is smart.
Luvu looks likes a super bargain BOTH times.
Boze was peanuts too.
Do I need to say foreman for 2million was one of the best deals as well?
If you only look for wrong and bad, you will find........look for both bro...
Agreed, most importantly we can understand his failures and what he saw. I think Fitt is a great gm, and I look forward to seeing what he can do going forward.

Assets can lead to better assests, just because we’re open doesn’t mean we will. But it means if someone wants to overpay then come on down.

Only thing the huddle can agree on is that we all deserve a pay raise

It’s the huddle man what are you expecting brother haha

Would be sad to see Shaq gone, is he worth his current salary…no, but is he a good linebacker and one of our leaders…yes! If he wants to take a pay cut and come back then more power to him it’s not like we don’t need him, we are thin at LB.

Stroud showed that same factor against a team stacked with nfl talent. He answered the concerns.
Damn right brother! Both have that rare ability where they can truly push the ball downfield in crucial moments!

Young please. Not buying the durability concerns. Can’t emulate the it factor he has.
Young is special, would be estatic with either him or Stroud.

A friend of mine who has a source in the organization said it’s down to Stroud or Levis but a decision has not been made yet.
Take that for what it’s worth.
Stroud or Young would be very disappointed if we took Levis.

Any idea what Foster Moreau will get on the FA market? Josh Norris intrigued me with his thoughts on him and spent the last hour checking him out.
26 years old, put up 5 TDs his rookie year and was behind Waller in Vegas. I wonder if he can be a TE1 here in Reich's system. Seems like a balanced TE that can block as well as be a threat as a receiver.
Can he be had on a reasonable deal and let others spend big on Schultz and Geisicki.
I would be totally fine with that, my only question is if he is that much of an upgrade over our current group. I totally think he would be our TE1 but he kinda fits the mold we already have of good blocking Tight Ends but limited as a receiver. My ideal scenario would be to take a high receiver floor TE in Kincaid, Musgrave, or Laporta later.

I don't believe he would have qualified with as little playing time as he would have had
Playing time plays a factor in increasing the value of the pick for the team they sign their next contract for. I don’t think playing time for the original team their leaving plays a role but I could be wrong.

We did trade CMC for a 2nd, 3rd, 4th and a 5th to basically get back Sam and CJ’s picks which were a 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 6th. What we traded away of course were early in the round picks and what we got back were late in the round picks, so you could say value wise that we traded away CMC and a 4th or 5th to get Sam and CJ. Not a good trade, but oh well. Teddy’s trade was Gilmore, so that was a wash but we did also waste a 4th and a 3rd on Corral as well, again early round picks.
I want a WB bad but I really hope we can get him at 9. Something tells me that trading up coupled with not trading Burns is going hurt watching the drafts unfold this year and the next two. Hopefully, we get the next Mahomes and don’t care.
Agreed, can’t believe I forgot to include the picks we traded for Darnold. But, great point trading up is going to put such an emphasis on hitting on our later round picks which is now much harder with how much less picks we have/lower quality depth due to consistent years of trading away lower round picks for nothing.

I never understood why we actually cut Baker, yes it was probably the admirable thing to do for Baker as he wasn’t going to start going forward. Yet, we still gave up our 2024 5th for him, and had we let him just ride the bench and play out his contract. Then this offseason we could have potentially recouped the value we lost in terms of a comp pick. Nit picking here, but man we trade away our later round picks for a whole lotta nothin. Combined with the 6th we gave for half a season of Stephon Gilmore, the third for CJ Henderson, the third this year we used with our third last year to trade up for Matt Corall(got fleeced), if we weren’t so desperate for all these later round picks because of those trades, maybe we wouldn’t have had to trade CMC.

I almost think Seattle resigning Geno makes it more likely they take AR. It would be a perfect situation where he can sit, learn and develop behind Geno.
Not really considering it’s a 3 year deal, drafting a QB this year almost negates their advantageous rookie contract. Beyond that having more players at a position especially of the caliber Geno played last year reduces the chances of drafting a player at the same position. Adding in Pete Carrols age, he’s most likely hitching his wagon to Geno and investing in him for his last chance at another ring. I could see them taking a QB at 5 but pick 5 is by no means the floor for Anthony Richardson. His price is at an all time high after the combine, I expect it to revert a small bit once scouts hear themselves back towards assessing tape.

Richardson’s floor is Seattle
Next question
Personally I think his floor is us at 9, Seattle just resigned Geno so the urgency to take a QB might not be there. But if Richardson dropped to 9 there’s no damn way he’s getting past us.

Sleeper team for Lamar is the Colts, their new head coach turned Hurts into an mvp caliber QB. Imagine what he could scheme up with Lamar’s speed with a solid Colts oline.
