Not sure his attitude would be any better on this garbage team. Like jumping from one turd boat to another.

Not sure our LB corps could get any worse even with him flaming out. A real risk to take, also the Texans are a total poo show.

  2. Former Texans linebacker who used to be one of the more highly regarded linebackers in the league. He’s only 26 and would be cheap to claim if we could get him. We desperately need some depth at LB honestly could move Carter back to a backup role where he’s more suited.

Cunningham will go on waivers where teams, in order of worst record to best, will have the opportunity to claim him at the rate of his current contract; $900,000 for the remainder of the season. It is likely that he goes unclaimed and becomes an unrestricted free agent eligible to sign with any team he chooses. Houston is on the hook for a roughly $12.8 million salary cap hit next season as a result of the move.

In Greek Mythology, heroes rarely end their days well, typically going on one last quest that ends disastrously. Still, they are remembered for their glory days, not for their downfalls.

So ends the tale of brave Ulysses.

Well put post my friend. I really don’t think this is the end of Cams career. The fact he played so well two weeks straight with such little time with the playbook is honestly impressive. I would be more then happy to resign Cam and build up our o line and get an actual fuging oc that knows how to draw up plays.

He just doesn't have the ability to throw the football anymore with any consistency.

    Yes - Brady sucks

    Yes - offensive line sucks

Yes - the wide receivers can't get open consistently.

You still expect your starting QB to put up better stats than 5/21, 92 yards, 0 TD, 2 INT passing.

Perhaps he can still be serviceable in goal line or short yardage packages but they need to just let PJ start and draft a QB next year.  Hopefully, we'll have a new coach by then too.

Honestly I just can’t comprehend how shitty of an OC brady is. He was genuinely putting any qb we put under center in serious danger. We have no o line and his play designs are atrocious and so slow and he doesn’t even bother to keep the rb to block or add an inline blocker. He owes this team an apology after that poo show we just watched.

  5. Eagles and especially the Vikings are potential playoff teams and those were close games with the worst Panthers offense I have ever seen. With Cam we win those type of games and then some. The Dolphins have some momentum going forward after winning three games in a row(Texans, Ravens, Jets) outside of the Ravens those are literally the two worst teams in the league. The Dolphins offense is not good even in games they win, Waddle and Geseki are nice players but their offense is slow and not overly explosive due to their o line struggling with protection. The best part is our defense was built to stop an offense like this, Gaskin their top rb is a nice pass catching back but he is 200 pounds and is not a powerful rb. Our speed on defense combined with our talent at CB is going to stifle this Dolphins offense. Panthers win this game convincingly! LETS GO GUYS KEEP POUNDING!

  6. 28-10 Panthers victory

Cam has another great game, and their offense struggles mightily against our fast defense. Their running game is not powerful, our speed match’s perfectly I could see us shutting them out if the end zone entirely.

Side note, Tua throws atleast 1 pick and burns and reddick feast on their o line.

Dude can we keep optimism after only one loss? Cam signing revitalized our team we’re hungry and our players are motivated. Cam hit the reset on the season in my eyes were 1-1 and were only gonna improve with Cams chemistry and playbook knowledge improving week by week. Btw cam looked fuging awesome today.

At this point making the playoffs probably sets the team back another two years

Dude what? First off there is literally zero abs worth drafting(I wanna keep Cam anyway) and secondly we don’t even have half of our draft picks this draft winning really actually wouldn’t affect us very much at all. Keep kicking the can down the road and think you’ll win then doesn’t work, strive to win and build up your organization to develop players and sustain success.

hope this poo team loses out so we are one step closer to a complete rebuild next season

Your clearly a very commited and loyal fan love the energy man! Really intelligent to rebuild when we’re in year two of a rebuild!

today left me uninspired, lowering my expectations to nothing until the last game might be best for my mental health

Today was bittersweet, obviously we lost which sucks. But on the bright side Cam looked great and it was actually fun watching a good qb play on our team. He will only get better with time too to gain chemistry and learn the playbook further and allow the Panthers to game plan around Cam.

Glass half full, most of the league is wildly inconsistent this year. If you told me that in a few months the Panthers would be 10-7, I'd believe it. If you told me they would be 7-10, I'd believe it. This is a weird year and with the 17 game season, everything is wide open.

Bucs are world beaters until they run into the Saints and WFT.

Rams think they have the Greatest Show on Turf 2.5 and then get rocked by the 49ers.

Cowboys are on top of the world and then Teddy McMittens and the Broncos stomp them.

Packers lost to the Saints early, went on a run and then Vikings got em today.

Cardinals were great, hit an injury patch and look pedestrian now.

In the AFC the Titans and Bills were juggernauts until they got the brakes beat off them.

Long story short, call it parity or just crazy inconsistency but there are exactly 0 teams that look unbeatable and exactly 0 that are completely futile. Even the Lions fight like hell even if the results don't show it. It's just a weird year.

I couldn’t agree more, this year there’s really no unbeatable team. It’s really all about matchups this year it’s really hard to know who’s really the best team.

Other ppl here won’t say it but it’s good to have some positivity and optimism on this board after a bad game.. All is not lost and reality is we’re still in year 2 of a total rebuild and most analysts didn’t have us in the playoff picture anyway…

    I salute you sir..

  13. Our next two games are very winnable, personally I also think the Saints gave is very winnable for us as we’ll. I also think we could steal a game from the Bills due to our defense matching up well with speed. The Bucs are rough but taking 1 game out of the two is possible. Cam is back, the offense looked solid the defense will play better. Keep pounding!

The overall OL talent level coming out of college has been lagging behind most other position groups for a long time.

College teams have figured how to get by with JAGs on the line and I think this is probably the mindset that Rhule came to the pros with.

Big problem is this isn't college and just because it worked there doesn't mean it will work here.

OL matters. You live or die in the trenches. You can't just throw guys with grit in there and bounce them around the line hoping that something works.

You get guys with a proven track record of sustained success at a specific position and you put them in it and you keep them in it.

This is a kick in the nuts lesson that I hope drops him to the ground weekly and that his stubborn ass learns from.

Great post dude I couldn’t agree more.

Trey Smith should have been the pick. Depending on how our medical staff felt about his clotting situation, their opinion could have weighed heavily on our decision to pass on him. It sucks that we missed out on him considering what we have attempted to call guards all season.

He would be such a nice player moving forward too, this is the worst o line I’ve seen the Panthers put out there it’s embarrassing.

Why waste a draft pick on a player you can quite literally pickup after the draft? Fletchers reaction just makes this even more comical he clearly not expecting to be drafted. I wish Fletcher nothing but the best and I hope he has a great career for us but this mistake has been beyond costly. Hindsight is always 20/20 but I just never understood this pick not even for the fact that Trey Smith was the literal obvious pick and is a stud, but just why waste a valuable draft pick for no reason?
