Yeah, something is seriously amiss her and like the Cards with Rosen, it feels like they've realized they made a huge mistake and would love the opportunity to get something back out of the deal.
It definitely could be but this seems like more of a character situation then talent. CJ was actually pretty good for being a rookie starter at the CB 1 position.

Ladies and Gentlemen. I give you, Urbane Meyer.
Hopefully he turns into bill o brian and we can get away with highway robbery!

The dead money next year if the Saints trade Michael Thomas would be insane. With that said, I keep seeing people suggest Thomas for CJ and a pick
That would be a super interesting trade, both MT and CJ got character concerns. Lawrence with MT could be leathal!

If a guy is being shopped a year after being a top 10 picks, that's got red flags all over it.
It totally does have a lot of red flags, I couldn’t agree more it’s just an interesting situation. You really don’t hear teams trading their top ten pick a year later often. Urban Meyer seems like a strange coach, that’s one of the big reasons I would be interested taking advantage of a Bill O Brian type of guy.

No, too expensive.
In his trade value or his contract?

He’s not that good, why would they be trading him already. Huge red flags!
His rookie season wasn't that bad outside of him missing 8 games, he was operating as their cb 1. Also this is the Jaguars so you really never know.

Jaguars shopping former top-10 pick C.J. Henderson just one year after drafting cornerback, per report
He was picked top ten in last years draft, would you guys take on chance on him?

Give this kid a break lmao the first preseason game hasn't even happened yet. Im not judging this pick until atleast 1-3 years.

"In the 40-yard dash, he ran an unofficial time of 4.69 seconds. He felt best effort came in the jumping events, recording a touch above 9 feet in the broad jump and 34 ½ inches in the vertical jump, surpassing some of his goals."
5'10 185 pound WR running a 4.69

Jeff Otah has to be on that list.
Vernon Butler never gets mentioned, but is definitely Top3
Jimmy Clausen and Armanti Edwards should tie for 3rd.
Vernon Butler is in no way top 3 haha, definetly a bad pick but he stayed on the team for 4 years and his last year here picked up 6 sacks.

Is the week 2 game home or away?

Even if he was on the field, their QB situation isn't any better than ours. Sucks he's gonna miss the game but well, it is what it is.
Their QB situation sucks, but losing their all pro wr especially with their next best wr being Trequan Smith is a recipe for disaster.

If we need an opposing team to have an injury or two to have a good chance at winning we need to do some soul searching and reevaluation of our roster!
Ice up young man. I want to know what we have in OUR team and that means playing good teams at their best.Only posted this as we play them early in the season when he’s gonna be out. To be honest I think we would kick their ass with or without Thomas he’s got Mr. Crab Fingers as his QB. Micheal Thomas is a great player and I wish him a great recovery.

I feel terrible. I hate seeing anyone get injured.
Lets all hope that Thomas takes his time and makes sure he's good and recovered before he sees the field again. Safety first.
Of course couldn’t agree more. I was just talking about the implications of his injury for us, as we play them early in the season.

We play the Saints week two, without Micheal Thomas our defense could really shut them down. Jaycee Horn gonna have a crazy game!

PJ > Darnold
Maybe we'll get to see Walker again when Darnold's former team beats us Week 1 with stud Wilson
I’m you seem to be misinformed, you will watch Darnold beat his former team.

5 year 96 million dollar contract at the RT position, what does this mean for Moton?

well, when being compared to other teams....
you can certainly drop by simply remaining the same.
It’s not like this was even a great o-line draft, talent around the league hasn’t changed much ngl.

I honestly don’t understand how this years line is perceived as worse compared to last years. Bitcoin boy Okung played like 2 games and walked off with his money, are we really missing Chris Reed?? The depth on this line is awesome, this is by no means a special oline but I honestly would not be suprised to finish the end of the year around the 15-20th range.

My slightly bold take is that we finish with a better record then last year.

“New Orleans fined their superstar wideout nearly $59K this week for "Conduct Detrimental to the Club" after an altercation with C.J. Gardner-Johnson that led to punches being thrown.”
“For unknown reasons, Thomas fell out of communication with the Saints. He did not return multiple calls over the next three months.”
“To the extent the Saints aren’t happy with Thomas, that emotion isn’t new. Last October, Jeff Duncan of TheAthletic.com wrote at length about the concerns the team had with Thomas. Then there’s the fact that, as PFT reported in late October, the Thomas camp was trying to get another team to make the Saints a trade offer for Thomas. No offers were ever made.”
