Bryce Young- A+(got our potential franchise QB, love hearing this guy speak he just sounds like a franchise QB. Hard working, insanely intelligent has all the mental intangibles of a franchise QB. I think we got something special in this dude!
Jonathan Mingo- B+(incredible athlete, great work ethic if he hits he hits big. Was a my guy this year, just thought we might have even been able to trade back and take him.
Dj Johnson- C(traded up for a 25 yearold rookie that we likely could have gotten with our later pick, combined with limited production. Saving grace of this pick is his freakish speed and power.)
Chandler Zavala- A(Awesome pick, investing in the oline of your rookie QB is always smart. Especially when his guy is an amazing athlete, scheme fit, paired back up with his college buddy Icky.)
Jammie Robinson- C+(Ok pick, worries me as a tweener between being too slow to man the slot and too small to play SS. On the positive side, he seems like a uber confident guy, freakishly strong for his size with 23 bench reps at 191 pounds. If this guy can use his strength to press WRS and disrupt their routes early I think he could be fine from the slot.

I’m expecting a high amount of quality UDFAS due to the openness of the roster.

Please trade into the draft and take Cory Trice Jr

Scheme might make a difference
Very true, hopefully I’m wrong. Just frustrated, sorta reminds me of the Rashuan Gaulden pick when Chauncey Gardner Johnson went right after him.

They probably liked his skillset more to compliment and maybe round out the rest of the roster. Antonio is closer to a box safety whereas Jammie is more a FS or nickel
Antonio Johnson spent a lot of time playing nickel in his college career. He’s a more natural FS, could hold up at nickel but would be a natural pro transition to FS. Robinson is a more natural nickel for sure, I just don’t think he has the speed at 4.6 to ever be anything above average. Could get absolutely torched by these new age slot WRS.

Same bro. Solid player
Antonio Johnson is a far superior prospect. Is a below average pick, it’s not horrible just underwhelming.

Welp, found my least favorite pick of the draft. Really bummed we didn’t take the high upside athletic freak TE at this spot, but hey there’s a reason the Panthers don’t ask me for my input lol.
I feel you brother

Sounds like a guy with potential. I like it.
Complete opposite actually, smaller safety with short ass arms who ran a 4.6. Capped upside, he’s already a developed player.

Really passed on Antonio Johnson?? Incomparable players, I like Robinson but man you can’t pass on Johnson for this guy.
-
Antonio Johnson, Zach Kuntz, Cory Trice any of those and I’d be very happy

Good pick! Needed more o-line depth and this guy is a mauler in the run game! Great guy as well and gets to pair back with him college buddy Icky!

so fuging nice to have a top qb pick and now we are investing in the line and giving him a wr
You can never have too many olinemen
As a state fan, how would you describe him as a player and as a person?

Getting back in early for Washington just makes too much sense doesn't it?
If your talking about Darnell Washington he went to the Steelers with the pick we traded to them.

I like the bryce pick, hes the best qb we have had in half a decade
I love the mingo pick for numerous reasons
I despise the DJ pick for numerous reasons
You’re spitting bro thank you for having common sense, regardless of how this pick turns out it looks stupid. It’s a horrible bet, a literal 25 yearold rookie this dude is the same fuging age as Burns. More importantly we didn’t need to trade up for this dude, I’ve never seen this dude mentioned before the 5th. The draft is always a gamble, but you can always increase your odds by going for younger more proven production players. This guy is a red flag, watched his YouTube channel and I personally do not see this guy as a good lockeroom fit.

After the last several weeks of reading the Huddle, I truly don’t think there’s anything else I need to know about any QB we draft. It will simply be 15 minutes talking about Young’s height, leadership, S2 score, playmaking ability, fit in our scheme, etc.
I agree the huddle did a great job at getting absolutely every detail about the top 4 QBS this year. The Huddle is gonna be referencing this QB draft class for the next decade I can already tell the, "Bryce vs CJ" "Ar-15 was the right pick" gonna be alot to deal with haha.

Probably also be kind of a big thing In terms of how people see Eric DeCosta.
I wouldn't say he's doing a bad job or anything, but he's not exactly Ozzie Newsome level just yet.
(sentiments that many a Ravens fan has expressed over the last few years)
Totally agree, great thought! Gonna be very hard to replicate the consistency Ozzie had in his drafts for sure.

If that's accurate that's...not what I'd call a huge increase (relatively speaking, of course). The guaranteed money is what everyone will be asking about though.
The next question to be answered will be whether it turns out to be a smart deal on the part of the Ravens.
This will definitely be a case study for running QB’s going forward! If Lamar continues to be injured and this contract turns into a mess, the market will lower the value of running QBS for sure.

I wonder who caved first. Lamar or the Ravens.
Supposedly Lamar got the biggest bag in the league, so I guess the Ravens finally folded.

Ravens moving more towards a passing offense with the firing of Greg Roman, and hiring of Todd Monken. Report is they are very interested in adding another passing weapon, either in the draft or trading. Odell, Bateman, potentially either Hopkins/Flowers/Q Johnson
So What Exactly Are We Doing on 3rd and 1, 4th and 1, and Goal Line Situations?

Darnell Washington would have been good in the redzone just saying…
