Dude shitted on so many parts of the team (rightfully) and but concedes how much better we are than the rest of the division, this might be a poo show this year lmao.
What parts are you referring to? Only part he really dissed was our CB room which outside of Jaycee is objectively very bad. Honestly he was really kind towards our team and our ranking is pretty good!

Bosa was ranked #1. I always try to remind folks, Brian Burns has never had a consistent offense to play off of in his entire career, save the end of last year where he thrived. There is a reason he is worth 2 #1 picks plus more, a lot of you can't see it because our schemes have sucked, he has had no compliment on the other end, and we rarely played with a big lead for him to exploit.Burns is our best player currently, happy to see him getting the recognition he deserves. Still a young guy, I hope we resign him soon!

Hey guys, I just wanted to post my first youtube video on the Huddle. I was excited to share it with you guys. This is my first-ever video, feel free to leave constructive criticism! I had a lot of fun making this video on TMJ, already thinking about future Panther-related videos. Keep Pounding!

Didn’t love this pick when it happend, but seeing this guys mentality and competitive nature I think he has a real place on this team. Also, camp news doesn’t mean too much expectations shouldn’t be too high for a 5th round rookie.

Finally getting the recognition he deserves, true Keep Pounding player.

SMH, you called me buddy first. I mean, OK buddy, seems like something that shouldn’t make you mad. Personally, don’t really care about Moore. Jets moved on and have their 5 WRs since they also added Cobb as well for Rodgers. Moore requested a trade last year so he wasn’t exactly a key guy for them like DJ was for us. Browns can see if they can get more out of Moore. I can still say it’s silly that Moore can be labeled best in the NFL at a route he ran 4 times the entire season, especially when the same source (PFF) had a very poor grade on him for the season.
Oh well, have a great day bud!
Come on man please do not reference old ass Randell Cobb as anything significant here. There’s JAGS on every roster and every positional group they’re irrelevant and can be replaced with a drop of a hat. Not sure if we’re even arguing at this point, Dj is in another league compared to Elijah never was disagreeing with that. To your point about Elijah ranking so highly, it was a limited sample size basis so it’s irrelevant compared to other receivers who actually had a large enough data set to conclude any significance. Also, he is actually a really good separator and was operating with the worst QB corps in the entire league last season. Don’t be surprised if he breaks out to a degree next season, has the making of a solid WR2 and elite WR3. I feel as if we’re just disagreeing to disagree at this point, hope you have a nice day.

Ok buddy. I wasn’t aware that the Jets traded him but my point stands that obviously the Jets had no room for him with Wilson and all their additions like Lazard.
All their additions like Lazard? They only added Lazard and Hardman, they traded Moore to gain assets to trade for Rodgers. All your points are easily refutable and just based off opinion, and bad opinions at that. Watch some football or read something man you argue like a below average middle school child.

Gotta love when the minimum is what the leader had. On one route, Hill had 54 targets. Elijah Moore was the best WR at comeback routes. He had an overall grade of 57.5, which sucks and he likely isn’t making the Jets roster.
We really are trying to hype up TMJ in here but a guy who’s touted here as the best deep ball guy in the NFL only has 1 TD and it was against garbage time backups when we were already losing by 35? I hope he’s as great as people think in here but I’m waiting until he’s not playing against CJ and Taylor.
I still hope Mingo balls out because I’m hoping for better than TMJ’s finish. I see all this TMJ was rolling under Wilks, but in the last 6 games he had 0 TDs and had 1-8, 1-18, 3-51, 2-55, 2-15 and 2-23 as our starting WR2.
Elijah Moore was traded to the Browns for a second round pick. I highly doubt he’s in any sort of risk of not making the team. Use an accurate example next time buddy.

Kyle Allen had a few solid games in 2019, but man he fell off hard.

So many rumors, so little real news.
It’s the most dead part of the offseason and probably year as a whole. Nothing to talk about much outside of theoretical moves with minor evidence.

If they can create a consistently strong pass rush, the backend doesn't have to elite.
Nit saying we can't use more talent and CB, but I don't see any starting quality CBs laying around.
Burns and Hunter rushing would be scary, two of the fastest edges in the league.

I'd rather go for another CB option
Shocked we haven’t signed anyone yet, maybe we’re waiting for cuts. Regardless, CB should be #1 priority im with you.

What are your guys thoughts on this potential trade? My personal opinion is it’s unlikely due to the fact we already need to pay Burns, paying another elite DE would be very cap restraining. At the same time, Hunter would be a great scheme fit and we are lacking another true edge threat. Potentially you could argue due to Bryce starting on his rookie contract that we have the space to afford paying multiple premium contracts.

Bryce has never been referred to as a project, man has been ready to play week one since his Heisman campaign. Growing pains will happen, look at Payton’s year one. But he will grow and gain valuable experience, combined with the fact our team is actually talented. He’s not being thrown into the fire, he is being thrown into a fairly comfy futon with Riech and our experienced staff being his arm rest. Maybe our receiving core can make for a nice comfy security blanket for our young stud.

Agree. But, If you were GM do you make that trade?
Hell yeah brother, not often you’re even able to trade for the #1 pick in a QB strong class. Bryce has shown nothing but class and what you can show in OTAS. We finally have some true hope at QB and aren’t tossing out the Teddy B, and Darnolds of the world.

Almost nothing has changed since draft day, heck you could make the argument that nothing changed since the day we made the trade. We have no idea what the value of the picks we sent or the players already selected are. We simply have nothing else to discuss until we see a large sample size of all the assets at large. I will say from a trade value chart the picks and assets we gave up was a good bet and I personally feel great about Bryce Young and think the world of him. But that is simply my opinion and we just don’t know currently.

WTH? lol, it doesnt take much for you to jump off of a cliff does it? Did you miss my first post where I said I like Burns as a pass rusher, but he is not on the same level with the big guns at the position.
He was supposed to develop since we drafted him but the improvement has been marginal. Hopefully the new staff can get the most out of him, as the last idiots had him dropping in coverage on a regular basis.
I am excited for the season to start as well, and I hope it is not a long season as we have had too many of those these past few years....
I get where you’re coming from dude, I will say I disagree with you at the same time respectfully. Burns has 100% developed over his rookie contract, both in his play style and body. Him dropping 12.5 sacks last year clearly didn’t impress anyone but he did this in his age 24 season. Not only has he already improved but it’s very reasonable for him to develop throughout his first contract due to him coming into the league so young. Burns floor is currently 12.5 sacks, his ceiling is a 15+ sack guy, you pay those guys the bag. Especially given his trajectory of finally going into a proper 3-4 defense, not Riveras fraud 3-4. Burns in the correct role will prove to be even scarier using his elite burst and bend to terrorize QBS and playing a 3-4 LB will allow him to play to his more natural role in run defense allowing him to be a complete player on the defense.
