he literally said he got the teams ok to get a 2nd opinion in atl with his dr, a precautionary checkup, he also stated that if the team didn’t ok it he would have never made the trip to atl.

The team ok'd it buy that didn't excuse him from the NFL testing protocol. The assumption would be they ok'd him to go but assumed he would be back in time for tye next days on premise testing.  No bug deal other than they probably liked what they saw in Jones too much during the absense.

My slightly waning interest is due to the shift in how people follow it. It's not about understanding the game as much as a soap opera.

I'm not sure where they are getting their depth chart from but it doesn't match what is on the official site.

I'll let the players vote in their captains. It has nothing to do with me or who I'm guessing is a leader.

I'm sure they are mostly talking about NY style pizza. That seems to be the depth of any conversation with New Yorkers.

I've never read the Athletic. It could be ok but I'm not paying for Joe Person. 

Unfortunately most fans just want the memes and gifs and hot takes offered by Twitter instead of journalism. 

We've come to a reality where every single thing that happens in sports requires a reactionary stand to be taken. 

Fans see a few minutes of practice play and think they know the whole story. What we as typical fans think is meaningless.

There's no pass for having ADHD when it comes to professional sports? Should we make excuses for pilots who struggle to learn to fly? Or surgeons?
