We get it. You have an axe to grind with Smith.
Talk about overreacting to preseason game announcing. It's just football....practice football.

Like previous generations said about Rock and before that Jazz.
Meh

Given the structure of the trade and the expanded PS with protections it's not really that stupid if they want to evaluate the situation more.

People still defend Gettleman?
I liked GMan for a bit until he poo the bed after 2015 and changed his course on everything that had been working.
They both sucked. Gman is proving that.

frank takes watching other people play a game very seriously. It's not about fun. It's about global conquest life and death if not first your last. No enjoyment until all your enemies are dead.

I don't post much but I've been here since 2003. It was a probably a few years back where people were making shitty posts and then Zod made it requirement that you would need 100 post to start a new thread. The thought behind that I think was to find and ban the trolls during their first 100 posts to prevent stuff life this from happening.
A lot of things are said. Very few are done. Whenever some new emphasis is announced it lasts about 12 hours tops.

Back in the day you would need 100 posts to start a new thread. I don't know if that's still a thing.
Unfortunately the owner does not care about quality.
Tinfoil hat would say this is a connected troll.

There is no point in going back to Temple and Baylor to judge this. As of now he is tied to Bridgewater and Darnold and going 0 for 2 isn't an option. The man needs a hit. The fact such a basic discussion triggers some is a reflection of how long mediocrity has settled in with this fanbase.
If anything has settled in then it's Alzheimer's with how repetitious this has become.

I'm sure this thread will feature some new ideas and interesting takes.

We don't know. He's obviously impressed enough people with his potential.

I'm surprised at how many are dismissing him already.
We better not be going with Sly

I'm open to the idea that Brady might not be a good OC....at least yet.
All the hype hid that he had never been a coordinator at any level.
I think it's clear he has the capability. It's only natural it will take some time to become proficient at it.

Norv Turner made Shula look good in retrospect.

I hope Gooby is a troll and not actually this mathematically challenged.

Small market, 1PM slot games, unknown guy, bad team (until proven otherwise), "does not impact every play".
A lot of factors not in his favor. This is a decent bet for money you don't need because you want it to happen. It is not a good bet for a serious long term betting strategy (then again, high odds almost never is).
Luke won it so the market and time slot don't matter.
Watt got it twice on 9-7 teams. That's certainly in our realm.

The Huddle is like the pack of Baboons I cycled up on in South Africa. A car drove buy them and honked to get them out of the road. It caused a 30 minute all out bloodbath monkey war over nothing.
We trade a conditional nothing pick for a well regarded kicker that everyone agreed needed to be done. Now its a shitshow.
What is wrong with this place?

Traded for a kicker and it wasn't Jose Borregales.
I'm out. Clock is ticking on Fitterer and Rhule.
Bye. He was the kicker everyone was talking about trading for.

So did we trade for a guy that might get cut?
Read the link....sheesh

Remember that you can protect up to 4 practice squad players.

If you are NE, you start Newton. There doesn't seem to be a downside to that approach for the future. Jones will get it eventually but no need to go there now.

That's what happens when losing becomes the norm and all fans have to talk about is the draft or the potential of next season. Yes some of it is aggravating but you can't blame the fans of the media for the product on the field.
I'm not blaming them for the product on the field. I'm blaming them for their reactionary tactics.
If there is anything to report the default mode it to spin it to the negative to rile up the reponses.

These guys are clowns. All that drama for a guy who practiced like twice and got beat out of a starting role. There are much better reasons to question rhule and fitterers moves. This isn’t one of them.
I hate sounding like a broken record but all anybody who covers this team on social media or radio does is complain and create drama about everything. It's easer to do that for a reaction than provide useful info.
