Should start at LG
Why? Not a need. Switching him to LG is pointless now.

Fanbase needs a psychiatrist.

I think that is ultimately the plan. Behind them however it looks scary.
How many teams are 3 deep at LT?
I'll wait until.we actually see Irving before assuming fuged status

— The Panthers went into the game with just 56 available players.
They held out all the starters after a vigorous couple of joint practices with the Colts, with the first team getting around 55 or 60 snaps of live action (which is around what they'd get in a regular-season game)

It's like the coaches had a plan or something

Just watched the highlights - he definitely had a couple of "welcome to the NFL" moments today.
On the spin move where he broke away for a long gainer that's a TD in the Big 12. Also he tried to hurdle someone later on and got body slammed.
He'll learn - promising RB.
Which was fine because he already ran 14 yds before leaping.
He'll get coached on when to do that and when to take your 15yd gain and move on. I'm sure it's a reflex.
The spin move run seems to show some nervousness at the end. You'd like to see him be confident and just run without looking back. Another thing he will get coaching on.
That's what preseason and coaches are for.

He's the top of the DE rotation.

Whats up with that? On a day even the young starters got the night off he played the WHOLE game... could he be a surprise cut by week 1?
Huh?

At least start him or Brown at LG..... I don't see why not
No need for a starter there. That's why.

Which makes me wonder if his lack of reps with the 1s is Rhule keeping that gem close to the vest before the reg season, tough love, or some old Ron Rivera "my guys first" stuff going on?
Christensen is Rhule's guy. He just pushed for a trade up to get him.

Hard to compete with Smith, Moose, Proehl but it's certainly possible

The OL who will make the team and have a future here have been fine. I'm not sure why the panic in that regard.
Will have to see the starters and how a guy like him will work with them going forward before panic but that's a story for the weeks to come

I hope not because while he runs like a beast he can't catch COVID in Florida.
Exactly how Samuel started out.

I don't think so.
Christensen looking bad? Huh

Unfortunately that was one of Hurney's last moves to screw the Panthers over. He signed a extension in January.
Hurney was let go in December

Id really like to find a miracle vet backup qb

All the snap judgment about Christensen beinga disappointment were absurdly premature.

When I go to the website (Panthers.com) I get a black screen that says Sorry, this game is not available in your market. I live in Huntersville.
Are you using a VPN that puts you out of market?

When will we blitz.
Long standing unofficial understanding that you don't blitz in preseason.

Is it unreasonable to expect Darnold to look better than Fields and Lance next month? Is it unreasonable to expect that after going effectively all-in on TB that Rhule wouldn't have learned from it and pushed his chips in on a potential franchise QB who has the skills to lead this franchise for the next decade as opposed to just throwing sh¡t against the wall and seeing if it sticks. And, no, I'm not calling Darnold sh¡t or saying that he should be a an MVP candidate from the jump, but he better be--at the very least--a competent game manager (and even that'd be a lip-pursing lowering of expectations), especially after all their evaluations of all QBs involved (including Minshew, I might add, assuming they did evaluate him, which they should have.).
All in? They ditched him in one season?

Another obvious thing that I'm surprised needs to be pointed out.
The depth chart can and will change. It's the first preseason game. Sheesh....y'all ever followed an NFL season before?

I can see that I suppose as he isn't a rook. Yet T Marshall and B Christensen but no J Horn? Agree that preseason is becoming less and less neccessary for risk but if our first rounder can't even see some action why even put either of the first 3 picks out there? We got the Taints week 2 these fellas are going to get tested early.
I'm not sure what's so confusing about the situation. We've seen the depth chart. We've seen the starting lineup for today.
He said we wouldn't see starters because they got their reps on Thurs and Friday and cuts are coming early week.
That's what we are seeing happen.

I have to say… I liked what I saw out of Christensen
in Carolina Panthers

Christensen isn't even on the depth chart at LG and you want to make him a starter there?
we have a vet LG that you've never seen take a snap but you want to replace him already with rookie who you haven't seen take a snap there who was a college tackle...just odd
