Yup.
We just got the DPOY for 6th rounder 2 years out. Only on the huddle would they use that to beat the OL dead horse.
these are the same people who pushed trading the team for Watson and made comments about every single pickup that wasn't an All Pro QB. They don't see the holes in their logic.

The airbrushed custom tailgating trailer with family portraits on the side was odd. Was there one made for every nfl team?

I've never met a Panther player despite living in Spartanburg. But, I did bump into Jerry Richardson at the Marriott Hotel (circa 2004-2005). I was out on a date and He walked in with his wife.
I said to my date "That looks like Jerry Richardson".
She replied "Who's that?". She had no idea who he was.
I told her "He owns the Panthers"
Just then he walked by. I said "Mr. Richardson"
He stopped and said "Yes?"
I told him that I just wanted to say hello. He smiled at me and extended his hand. After our handshake we went our separate ways with our significant others.
It wasn't and earth shattering event. Im sure Mr.Richasrdson has no memory of it . I had actually forgotten about it myself until I saw some of your posts. He did seem like a pleasant guy.
Years ago I saw I'm order...Beurlein, Morgan, Jenkins, Rhys Lloyd, Smitty out in random public. A subtle nod and smile was all I felt was necessary.
I don't blame people for tastefully approaching players, etc. Just not for me.
Oh, I saw Remmers while I was on a bike camping tour around Oregon the week before camp in 2015. It was at a bagle/coffee shop. I didn't say a word but thanks when he held the door for me. It took a minute to place him but big dude, beard, giant truck with Oregon State plates. Afterwards I signed up for Twitter to see if he was near. I commented on his most recent Tweet and he replied I should have said something about being a Panther fan. Seemed a nice guy and I hated the personal stuff he got here after that.
Boring story I know

"(It) came about when I was in little league," he said. "It was my first ever real number I had when I won a championship when I was 5 years old.

Same info from every other source who has mentioned how this unfolded.

I'm 39 so I just view Gilmore and Horn as young guys but that makes sense
He's older than Jaycee. He's not calling him Unc in reference to you....lol

I would never approach a player anywhere for any reason. You are bound to be disappointed.

We share a common condo building
His foot was in a cast and he was getting along with those knee scooter devices
Sounded upbeat, said if he can make it it'll be playoff time. Was VERY excited about Gilmore and referred to him as 'unk' which I have no clue what that means
He is a very built guy, like solid muscle
Uncle seems the obvious interpretation. He's an older guy who played same position at the same school.

Well, take it from me - the grass is not always greener on the other side. I mean, there is nothing wrong with Texas but its not home.
My friends who have left or want to leave have gone to the mountains, etc. All are fortunate to work from home. That's a big difference.

I amended my response to explain better

Charlotte and the surrounding area really is a great place to live. Amazing food, great weather, great city. Can't really beat it. I have lived all around the country and I may be biased a little, but Charlotte is my favorite place bar none. I had to move from Harrisburg last year to San Antonio TX and I miss it like crazy.
I'm not trying to argue this. I do miss living there and would consider it again other than the price of housing now.
However, most everyone I know left or wants to leave as soon as they can. Granted most everyone of these people grew up there, moved there in the late 90s or early 2000s and wish it was 20 years ago.
I can see how it is attractive to people with wealth.

Suffice to say he's been pursuing things and as he said teams aren't budging on offensive lineman.

I can't remember if it was Rhule or Fitterer but one of them alluded to the idea of one of our many CBs and the safety position going forward. Probably Fitterer as he was seeming to say a little more and be a little less vague yesterday.

Fitterer, Pat Stewart, & Samir Sulayman seem to be a very strategic and well connected group running tge front office.
They know everyone and have a way to get things done. It's could be a lot of fun watching these guys maneuver.

I don't rate them vs each other

Get him for a 2023 6th, if we lose him after this season we probably get a 2022 3rd comp pick... Sounds like a win-win...
If we lose him in 2022 offseason then we get the comp in 2023.....but yeah.

I hate that Djax cannot Tackle and he has improved some (at tackling)... but I do believe he is the most likely option moving to a Safety position. If anyone in the CB does
He has been a fantastic tackler. It'd been very noticeable

I'll be proven wrong but I can't imagine he is tempted to play again.

Now how about that OL (L-OL)

Well Damn! I suppose the desire for elite CB is even stronger than I thought after being surprised by the Henderson trade.
I didn't see this as a possibility but I will stop guessing what this team will do.

Jake totally lost that Cardinal game and that was sad.
But putting a Captain Munnerlyn 1/1 on a prime Larry Fitzgerald was comical…and then continuing to do so after the half (after I had accepted the loss) seriously made laugh until I cried.
Like how kind numbingly stupid can you be.
Of course signing Jake to another big contract right after that season (it was it before?), either way right after TJ surgery that is like 6/6 in destroying athlete’s careers… there are no words for.
This franchise man…
It wasn't comical but it is fictional. Captain Munnerlyn was drafted 4 months after this.
Ken Lucas and Chris Gamble were the two corners in that game

I don't really see the angle on why this would or should happen.
Panthers trade for Gilmore
