I mean more in the sense of being a lead blocker for a RB.
But he never appeared to be a very good blocker. He had the physical tools for sure but didn't do it well on a consistent basis.

I heard some radio guys complaining that we hadn't traded Grier.
Who the heck is trading for Grier?

I was always hopeful fan but he didn't so much here. I don't see any value in bringing him back.

I think most of the Huddle realizes he's done, just a few people in denial left over.
I was thinking he was primed for a good season. Ultimately I honestly think one thing really caused this.

I'm surprised by this move. However, it highlights some real discrepancies between how good our fans see him vs how others see him. Two franchises cut him instead of trading him. He took relatively very small contracts to get on a team. He looked fairly good this preseason but that's now what other's see it.

I'm guessing a certain personal choice had a significant influence on this decision.
I'm also assuming they would have preferred trading him and could not in time.

The clean pocket thing everyone keeps repeating is funny because that's exactly what he had struggled with and it was well documented. While he generally performed well in relation to the league when pressured.

Santoso stares down Darnold. Every. Single. Time.

That's why he has to wear the "No Decision" t-shirt! It's all starting to come together now.
Entire roster traded for Watson. It's Watson and Santoso vs the world. I like our chances.

Ian Thomas and Pat Elflein next
For some reason, this staff doesn’t realize the obvious, which is that Moton-Daley-Paradis-Brown-Christensen is by far the best way to go.
Daley didn't look very good last night.
Anyways, cutting a vet that offers depth at the very least would be boneheaded. Especially since it would produce dead cap and not free up a penny.

I totally get the Panthers wanting to move on right now.
wish they would have found a better kicker before doing it though
You don't know anything about Santoso. So why assume he's not good?

Good luck to him

Not even really joking but if he cares about kicking maybe he should change his physique. It seems it could lend itself to being more fluid .

The conspiracy would be around the decision not to draft Fields. That move seemed at least somewhat questionable at the time. This could explain the thinking.
That's not a conspiracy. That's just a decision or strategy.

For decades it seems like we went out of our way to avoid guys like that for whatever reason.
We had 2 in Turner and Norwell.
Unfortunately Gettleman never wanted to pay Norwell and Turner went soft after getting paid.

How CMC + Arnold + Marshall changes the offense.
How Reddick + Jones + Horn changes the defense.
Cuts from around the league

I am optimistically interpreting it as such.
