For high school kids, it's probably effective

For grown men who have been playing for many years (and with a paycheck on the line), it's pretty lame and likely ineffective.

The biggest consequence of the DBO sign -- it makes the coaching staff look like they don't know what they are doing.

Why even try to guess what these guys think or what works unless you have a conclusion you have already drawn?

    What's the beef? Which player?

Anything possible to bring negative light on Bridgewater while getting upset with Newton criticism .  That's the long standing one. Just seems time to let it go. Or at least don't be angry at criticism you've opened yourself up to by engaging in that realm.

I suppose this is just Twitter and I should move on too.

  3. ellis, love you man. I look at your stuff multiple times a day. I don't have a Twitter account and never intend to.

Some honest constructive criticism. If your account is going to put a noticeable emphasis on making light of and criticizing athletes then you are volunteering yourself for the same.

Media is not above criticism when they engage in it daily.

Why release this poll with 8 candidates if they've already narrowed it down to 3 finalists?  Seems like a dumb PR move if one of the non-finalists ends up polling well and exciting the fanbase and they just end up going with something else.  This probably should've been the prerequisite to choosing the finalists.

That's  exactly why they released it. Too see  how they hold up.

  5. Seems the consensus now is that the issue was with receivers getting open and drops. That's going to happen some days.  There's hints some might not have put in the best effort today.

It's not all about Sam as coach only singled out receivers after saying the others practiced well.
