Yeah, I can tell you don't watch the games because you refer specifically to college statistics instead of evaluating what's happening in each player's games.

I don't really care either way. You can go back to evaluating quarterbacks you find the hottest for all I care.

You can tell this and you can tell that.. Got it..

At what point do you recognize the numbers and why they are so bad for a QB being looked at as a top 5 pick??? When does that be something you can tell??

If college numbers don’t matter why even keep records of them???

I should never see you use numbers in a debate because you watch the game and saw all the outliers and intangible situations.. (The Qb broke up with his girlfriend before the game that’s why he went 6 - 17 with no TDS vs a 1-11 mid major ) Got you..

go down this list and explain why he only completed 48% his passes when he had to see UGA..  He had a bad breakfast right?? Lmao

You're not very convincing. I don't feel like you're the type to take the time to watch the games.

I really don’t care what you think at some point you can’t dispute  or neglect the hard Numbers ..

Which if it wasn’t for his outstanding athletic ability would be looked at like a 3rd round QB..

Being truly honest if it wasn’t for Josh Allen.. AR would have went back to school because the actual numbers are bad..

I'm sorry, I can't take you seriously. I've watched every game I can find of each of the top four. Stroud, Levis, and Richardson I've often watched games 2-4 times.

Good still doesn’t change the fact this dude miss more easy passes on the level of Kyle Bowler and  Has less experienced then any QB predicted to be drafted in the 1st round..

He couldn’t read defense once they made adjustments..  He was lost when they spied him.. And without his running ability he would be similar to Clemson’s Ugala..

Dont take me seriously but show this great film where a QB with the lowest comp % Of any QB ever considered to be drafted this high and a 17  - 9 tds to interception line and just blame his footwork.. Even with good footwork he miss throws and went to the wrong read..

    Facts are facts

To be 1000% clear, he isn't my top choice for pick 1.  I prefer Stroud and Young over him.  I just think he is further along than people are thinking and will probably be playing some in year 1.  That Florida offense had him looking a lot worse than he is.  I saw a lot of drop backs, going through reads, and WRs dropping nice throws.

I get that .. I still disagree with the opinion on Richardson and just need you to explain to me why you have that Opinion..

let’s be real.. AR  has been in The Florida program since 2020 but couldn’t win the starting job until 2022 .. Emory nor Luke whatever we’re good QB’s but they held AR back for 2 years .. How??

I kind of look at this way. If I'm Fit and Reich am I risking my last chance as a coach and GM on the incredible rawness of Anthony Richardson? Maybe I'm adverse to extreme risk, but I am certainly not. I would go with the somewhat less risker option with a probable great return. Which in this case would be Young or Stroud.

Even if I’m tepper,. I took the big swing 7 years 70 million dollars thinking I’ve found the next Jimmie Johnson in college..

Why would he be talked into doing it again..

I think he may be less raw than people are thinking.  I could see a team incorporating an offense similar to the Eagles last year and running a lot of plays with AR helping get his feet wet in year one.

I don’t want to have to do that for the 1st pick in the draft..
Come up with gadget plays just to get him playing time???
We gave up 3 picks and our number 1 Wr for that??

And you literally just described what San Fran did with Lance..

Not really. He misses receivers a lot of the time because of footwork. He has elite movement in the pocket, scans the field well, and generally makes good decisions. This along with his elite size, speed, and ability to create with his legs is going to be enticing to front offices.

I would bet on some level a lot of the scouts have Young's size, and Stroud's adversity under pressure as worse knocks than footwork leading to inaccuracy. If Richardson played another year he would have definitely improved his accuracy enough to be considered possibly the consensus number one overall.

Yes really it is .. Stop watching hype video where they only show you the good plays.. He missed more short easy throw then anybody I’ve ever seen .. If another team play a zone he was lost completely.. If they stopped the run the game was over and look like Darnold in NO last season..

I have no clue what you think you saw but this kid maybe just as raw or even less prepared to play then Malik last year and the “real” Tape says this..

    Dalton isn't the starter.

Dimwhitted fans on Twitter and other fan forums seemed to believe we picked him up to be the starter for however long which made me LOL.

He's the experienced back-up we need to act as a second QB coach while also being capable of playing. Dalton may end up being a decent coach one day. He has the look and the experience.

I agree that’s why I don’t think Richardson or Levi’s is in the discussion..

Because the Colts weren't going to move down to 9. So we trade up to one to get leverage over the situation while still providing opportunity within the top 5 to get the QB we want.

It's not that hard to figure out.

Also, the Texans have two first round picks, one of which isn't tradeable. So if we could get a 2nd and a 2nd next year to trade back down to two, and still get Stroud, LFG. Highest value picks are the 2nd and 3rd rounds and this draft has a ton of depth in talent throughout Day 1 and 2. Probably the most talent I recall in a draft honestly. Pro Bowl talent will be there on Day 2. If you can get an extra second by screwing with the AFC South, do it.

This doesn’t makes sense if Houston likes 2 QB and don’t care to give up assets for just 1 of them…

If you want to join the dots, Dalton was the bridge starter in Chicago before they deemed Fields ready to take the reigns.

Dalton isn’t even getting a press conference and he signed today .. If they planned on him being the starter he would get more media attention..More and More it looks like the Vet Mentor and not the bridge guy waiting for the young guy to be ready…

They are drafting a day 1 starter..

If we traded to the 1 spot and gave up all that to get Richardson…..that seems like another poor move by this braintrust.

Nothing really against Richardson the prospect…but his odds were too high of being available where we were.    And if we weren’t head over heels in love with anyone why do it.   We could have just drafted a guy that had decent potential at our old spot.   Any of the 4 would be worth a swing to a team in QB purgatory.   Why give up all that we did.

    Yes this ^^^
To give up what you did for the pick and to take a project is assine…. You already got to fixed the roster with less picks and a corner stone .. Why give yourself more work to train a athlete to be a Qb??
