Reconsidering the Falcons roster situation, i amend what i said, the location and home ties dont fuging matter. They fuging suck. I legit think both they and the Saints are purely throwing their hat in the ring to fug with us and drive the price up. Again, fug both of them. If they legit enter the fray, unless Tepper's promises are way beyond what any other team is offering, we are fuged. One of the biggest things we had going for us was proximity to home and college for him. If the Falcons are really interested, that poo just went out the door. I've honestly been thinking about this, and if they won't take him, we need to find whichever team is furthest under the cap and do an NBA style trade. Offer them a pick(s) to take on his contract, they can then waive him/buy him out and be done with it while picking up a draft pick in the process.

Yeah, I don't like it at all... As I was telling a friend recently who doesn't get to see our games but knows about our star players - if Burns could complete the tackle even a 1/3 of the time on the ones he gets a hand on the QB and missed, he would be cranking out 15 sacks a year, MINIMUM. Now if he converted at an even higher rate in those misses, he very easily could have a 20 sack year any given year. I really hope we find a way to keep him.
