True Story: We have a one year old parakeet that throws an unholy fit every time a Panthers game comes on.

When the Cowboys play though, she sits contentedly on Lady Cowboy Fan and watches.

I wish I was making this up 🫥

Parakeets: highly intelligent for birds, questionable whether they are as intelligent in key ways as small human children.

Sounds about right for a Cowboys fan.

Because the people who make Madden are clearly NFL experts who pay very close attention to every player in the league. Obviously they're gonna know what position a starter plays, so if you were thinking Chinn is a safety, clearly you're wrong.

    Do not question the Madden.

I feel like this has more to do with basic talent/production/underperformance vs. "Rhule guys".  If we end up keeping some of Rhule's draft picks (Barno, Mays, Christensen, Chuba) and get rid of others (Tremble, Corral, Taylor) then clearly everyone is getting a fair opportunity to make the roster, and are simply being evaluated individually on their own merits.

This sounds borderline too reasonable for the Huddle.

I'm gonna need you to yell semi coherent things at a shrill pitch while hyperventilating in your next post just to stay in keeping with the tone here.

    Thanks.

Side Note: I read this thread title in the voice of Bonnie Raitt

I read the thread title of all your threads in the voice of Morgan Freeman.

Zod's threads in the voice of Agent Smith from The Matrix.

The Big Kat in the voice of Kermit the Frog.

    Nas gets Denzel Washington.

    Ricky Spanish gets Ace Ventura.

Juan gets Ruby Rodd from The Fifth Element.

Karl Spackler gets Kirk Lazarus from Tropic Thunder.

LadyPanther's threads I hear in the voice of Cate Blanchett.

Linville Gorge sounds like Ryan Reynolds.

Rum Ham sounds like Bart Simpson.

Rayzer's threads for some reason sound like the plant from Little Shop of Horrors.

CamwoahCam sounds exactly like the Swedish Chef.

and I'm sure I'm not the only one who hears 4Corners threads in the voice of Gilbert Godfrey.

think there was to a degree a Shaq factor with Cam.  Refs essentially deemed Cam's size an advantage and therefore we going to apply the rules uniquely to him.  Personality only reenforced that bias.

    This.

His size plus a personality that likely rubbed older guys the wrong way led to horribad officiating where he was concerned. There are too many plays over his career of Cam getting absolutely and clearly illegally clocked and nothing is done about it, that can be put side by side next to plays of our pass rushers looking at guys like Brady, Rogers, etc wrong and being called for absurd penalties to even dispute the bias was clear.

Anyone claiming otherwise has either never bothered to examine the evidence closely or is willfully ignoring it.

I'm a few episodes in, it's definitely a decent watch - and I don't usually like stuff like this unless it's Panther related.

my biggest take away is Mahomes, obviously all eyes should be on him - his every move. the guy is arguably the greatest to ever do it and he's only just begun. Mahomes is a very vocal leader, inspiring, lots of joking, complimenting, hyping up. the biggest thing he does is work with his childhood trainer. they work on some really interesting and simple, yet genius ways to keep his body flexible and durable.

I pray to Sam Mills that Bryce Young watches this show and focuses on those two aspects of Mahomes game. Bryce needs to be a vocal, edgy leader and I haven't seen that side of him. Bryce also needs to take care of his body and do similar resistance and endurance training like he does. No QB is safe from these defenders.

also, does anyone know if Bryce played any baseball? I have a theory on successful NFL QB's and one of my main boxes that needs to be checked is former baseball experience. Especially shortstop. The traits you develop from being a short stop aren't teachable or coachable and have major, and unique upside.

Yeah let's see if we can get Young in some college baseball games. Technically doesn't he still have eligibility if it's a whole different sport?😛

Felt bad for Mariota.  Seems like a nice guy.

I really wish fans would have some perspective before heaping scorn on guys like this.  A Jay Cutler type who clearly doesn't give a fug and is just stealing a paycheck? Sure, but a lot of guys like Mariotta are good people working their tails off and guilty only of not being better than a dozen or two of their peers at what they do.

The worst starting qb in the NFL every year is the 32nd best qb in the world out of thousands upon thousands.

gotta love sports man. never forget. kasey will never be forgiven, nor will Cleat Blakeman.

Kasy was very good at what he did for a very long time.  I can easily forgive him one mistake.  The day in day out professional incompetence of Jerome Boger I will neither forgive nor forget. fug the league for keeping him employed.

Can we keep blaming cheating-ass Belichick and his video camera from Hell???

Thank you. The league literally destroyed the evidence of it's investigation of Patriots cheating during this period. Why would you destroy the evidence of your own internal investigation? I'll give you a reason: because it uncovered evidence that called into question the validity of the final outcome of a Super Bowl, something the league would probably do anything to keep hidden.

Kasay did so many good things during his career as a Panther, why would any true fan look to blame him for the SB loss while ignoring Patriots cheating as a factor?

Oh right, cause the Patriots are such a quality organization and we all love them anyway, especially Brady.

People laughed when I said Bryce Young will be the best QB in this division as a rookie. They laughed when I said we would win the NFC South this year. They laughed when I said Bryce Young will establish himself as a top 3 QB in the NFC by the end of the season. They laughed when I said the franchise is destined for greatness with Young at QB. They laughed when I said Bryce Young would be the #1 pick over CJ Stroud. They laughed at me all over this board. Everything I have said has come true.

    Keep laughing...

Thank God you didn't try to make Young's success all about you.

I lived in CLT for 18 years. I stand by my statement. People are also moving in droves to Texas btw.

Two things can be true at once. People are moving in droves to Texas, but not from NC, mostly from Cali and other points west. Charlotte is still growing rapidly, as evidenced by the breakneck pace of continued development. Your subjective opinion is you don't care for it, that's fine, move somewhere you do like, which sounds like you did. The evidence does not support the notion most people agree with you about Charlotte however.

    Charlotte sucks.

I was just thinking that's exactly why everyone and their brother has been moving here in droves for the past quarter century. People can't resist the temptation to live in shitty places with nothing to offer.

If Disney moved because of the climate, they would go further north than NC because they had seen studies that showed NC would become too hot and dry and they wouldn't want to move again. If Disney moved to NC at all, it wouldn't be the mountains but somewhere in the piedmont. There's not enough land in the mountains for a park Disney World's size. Virginia, southern Ohio, southern Indiana, or Kentucky would be my guess if Disney left Florida due to the climate.

I mean, you're saying they wouldn't go to the mountains of NC because they might *become* too hot, when they're already located in Florida?  If they came to the piedmont I'd tell you a prime location. Look at a map of the area. Look east and east southeast of Charlotte. See that big empty space bordered by 601 on the west, 27 on the north, 52 to the east and 74 to the south?  Nothing but wide open farmland with Oakboro the only town inside it.  That's where you get your big tracts of open land cheap, and you just make sure the state government agrees to put in major highways in and out as part of the deal to get you there.

I don't think they move as far north as the midwest, as flat as it is, because that's the part of the country everyone and their brother are moving away FROM. Virginia I could see and honestly could make a ton of sense. DIsney world in the Shenendoah Valley would be horrible for the Valley's natural charm, but probably a wet dream of a location for the suits at Mouseworld.
