I don’t care who is the source for getting something right as long as we get it right.

#1 pick and we're getting the runt.

Meh, Charlotte's got something much more important (that Las Vegas is in desperate need of) water. Patience grasshopper, a few more years of drought in the Southwest and Charlotte will have all the pro sports teams it can handle.

If the Panthers choose Bryce, we'll have to conclude the decision makers valued what's between his ears more than whatever additional inches in height the other QBs offered.
Getting a Tom Brady level decision maker doesn't come along too often.

We had one of the best natural grass fields in the NFL before this change. Climate here is a lot more conducive than Arizona. The only reason for turf is for events like concerts
Carolina heat and humidity is great for growing grass no doubt about it (Tepper needs to get with the program).
However, as someone that has lived near the AZ stadium for several years, I can say they have a state of the art system that can grow grass and swap out fields as fast as anyone in the league. Why they decided to experiment with a new variety of grass just before the SB is beyond me.

Well Tepper got grass for the Chelsea FC game and ripped it up 12 hours later, not sure how long it took. I know the Super Bowl in Phoenix they put down new grass on their retractable field 2 weeks in advance and it didn't take to the soil at all obviously.
If I recall correctly the AZ stadium was using some experimental grass during the Super Bowl.

Kudos to Mike!
Here's to hoping he repeats his kind gesture next year with a donation to the Make-My-Wish Foundation!

I would love him to have a Russel Wilson career just hand the ball to the RB for that second ring
Seahawks grabbed defeat from the jaws of victory that day.

It’s funny how Lawrence got skewered for a similar rookie season to Manning with far worse coaching/team. Used to be fairly common for a rookie to struggle especially starting on a not so great team. I wouldn’t be worried about a “bad” year, it’s likely to happen.
Yeah, expectations are always high for rookie QBs. Some times it takes a few years for things to click.
What's hilarious and predictable are posters here that will treat a game or two of poor performance as an eternity.
You can book it that no matter who the Panthers draft #1, after his first bad game as a starter, there will be posters here declaring him a failure and that the coaching staff/GM should be fired. Lol.

I'd much rather he be a shorter, smaller version of Peyton Manning.
Man, would love to be a fly on the wall at Panthers HQ when Bryce Young replicates Peyton Manning's rookie stats.

If a taller version of Bryce were available, I suspect the team would have drafted that person.
So, I'm good with Bryce and appreciate the importance of having a QB that can quickly identify a defense's weaknesses and exploit them.
I'm expecting Bryce Young to be the Panthers offensive version of Luke Kuechly.
Bryce the Brainiac.

Well the team did say they didn't want the back and forth between two guys going all the way until draft night. Still strange they even have Stroud and Levis bothering to roll into town at all.
It appears the Panthers have their man. Congrats to Bryce.
However, there's still another week to go until the draft.
Hopefully, poo won't happen, but sometimes it happens anyway.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Corral being used as trade fodder during the upcoming draft.

No comparison. 6'2" 220lbs?! Actual dual threat QB that can run north to south. Young doesn't have his height, run ability, or weight. Corral is just as or more accurate. Stronger arm than Young.
I'd hope that the new coaching staff would give Corral every opportunity to prove himself rather than dismissing him out of hand. Matt had better hit the ground running, because no matter which QB the Panthers select in ten days, he'll be the shiny new penny and the apple of their eye.

And what do you base this on? That he never got to practice or play, or that he got injured in a preseason game with the 4th stringers?
If stupid was gold, this place would be Ft Knox.
Not sure why you felt the necessity to be insulting. Look, I'm in favor of keeping the guy, but anyone that's been following the Panthers this year knows there has been talk of Matt being available for a trade. Local media covered it last month.

Looks like the timing is right for getting a QB that everyone is worried about getting his little head bounced around.
Fitterer's justification to the press for drafting Young: The bigger they are the harder they fall.

Seriously, how much could a couple of BBQ plates w/coleslaw and fries, a Bud Light, a bottle of Boone's Farm, a hay ride and a happy ending behind the Double Door Inn cost these days?
-
Meh, I guess anything is possible, but the cost of living for the Southern US is about as cheap as it comes in this nation (since forever). If Charlotte is #2 in the nation when it comes to an evening out on the town, something is seriously wrong and/or the city's service industry is making an absolute killing.

The reason the 9ers needed more is cause they never had their franchise QB.
The reason the 9ers needed more is cause the first two QBs on the depth chart got hurt.
That having been said, when it comes to the Panthers roster, Corral likely doesn't have much time left to make a case for himself. It may already be too late.

Why even bother playing games anymore? Just set up a couple of desks at midfield and let the opposing QBs compete for the top test score each week. Then, the two with the highest averages face off at the end of the season in a Super Bowl Quiz Off.
Must see TV.

Aaron Rodgers finally traded to Jets
in Carolina Panthers
Posted
This, plus Jets have a good D that will likely get better now that the offense can actually stay on the field longer than one set of downs.
