so ball control isnt everything then, right? I mean you did just say that ball control was everything.... but it appears winning teams dont give a poo about ball control. Score Fast, Win Fast.
I said that the Panthers ran a ball control offense on order to protect the panther's defense. However with a defense as generous as yours, it didn't work so well.

50% of the teams in the playoffs this year were in the bottom half of the league when it came to t.o.p... the teams in the super bowl were in the bottom half as well, and the sb champs were in the bottom quarter....
Playoff teams stop someone every once in a while.

Yeah he ran them into a 4-11 record and 15tds and 11 int’s ... BAD QB #!!!
That's your problem right there. Teddy makes the Panthers look credible on offense in spite of a defense that's atrocious on third down, and you blame him. No appreciation what so ever. Where's Rhule, Brady and Snow's culpability. They have no role in the Panther's 5-11 season? Why is it all on Teddy Bridgewater?

Yes because that what Teddy was brought here for...More accuracy better decision making, making quicker reads...
15TDs and 13Ints would have any team looking for another QB.. No matter what you think..
Ball control offenses keeps you in games. This ain't Madden.

3 Wr, with over a 1,000 yards from scrimmage.. More then Cam ever had when he was here... How many teams had 2 Wr do that this season?
You do know who ran that offense that got those all pro receivers those numbers right?

Teddy was on the field and the offense couldn't score and definitely not when it mattered most, so are you sure you want to make this comparison?
Let's go. Teddy ran a ball control offense in order to protect a leaky defense. You got a problem with that?

This can't be a serious reply.
As serious as you are when you blame Teddy for the Panther's problems.

Perfect? No. Competent? Yes. And key defenders that failed to perform and/or live up tot heir contracts have lost their jobs - Whitehead benched and a cut possibly coming, Boston cut, Weatherly cut, Short cut.
They were on the field, and they couldn't stop anybody, and you blame Teddy.

And again lets not forget being Surrounded with talent that Cam would have died for.....
Everybody expected a defense with 6 -7 new starters most being rookies, a new scheme with a small size offseason to learn it, and Injury riddled secondary to struggle...
What talent. you mean the receiver that you all have dangling on the free agent market, or the one who leads the team in drops.

Teddy
3 minutes ago, WOW!! said:The defense was young and had 1 year together and actually got better thur the season... Teddy has been the same QB he is for 5 years and only got worse when the season went along..
2 different stories 2 different situations...
So Teddy has to be perfect yet the defense that's been a sieve gets a pass.

So that's perhaps 1 out of 8, and even then didn't get the job done. I know if I fail to get my job done 90% of the time I get fired regardless of whether my coworkers are failing at their jobs or not.
Someone has a math problem. The panthers won four games that Teddy started. There's your 90% all shot to hell right there.

Just now, KSpan said:
The need for improvement is not limited to QB and no one has said otherwise. That said, the OL and defense have nothing to do with things like throwing a 2-yard pass on 4th and 9 with the game on the line or repeatedly checking down deep in the team's own territory during a final drive with time expiring.
So do you fire a defense that goes two games without forcing a punt? Two one score losses by the way.

Wtf!! What Games were you watching???
You lose all credibility in this statement by just the Minnesota game alone...
Stop now!! LOL
Look at the Kansas City game. Where's your credibility.

Being underwhelmed with Teddy's objective on-field play and overall track record as a starting QB and/or desiring a cheaper, more dynamic QB, even if the end result is the same next year, is not 'hate'. Frankly, someone like Jameis would at least make the losing entertaining.
Then you should be down right disgusted with your offensive line and defense.

Putting a team in 12 game winning situations and winning four of them with a team who couldn't stop the girls of Madison County is a major accomplishment. Go ahead and get you bag of chips so that you can be the boot wipe of the league for the next ten years.

The hate on for Teddy is beyond irrational. There's no up grade for Teddy available right now, but Jameis Winston and Mitchell Trubisky is out there if you really have to feed your bitterness.

Report: 49ers called Panthers about Teddy Bridgewater
in Carolina Panthers
Posted
Rhule and Brady knew who Teddy was. He didn't come here disguised as Mahomes. Furthermore, why do you think that quarterbacks like Mahomes or Watson will cure what ails the Panthers.
