And no disrespect to Tabor, but why tf him as interim? Why not Evero?
he's been an interim HC before if I recall correctly for the bears

feels like the writing was on the wall with the ineptitude of reich passing play calling and then taking it back
Fitt needs to be gone, the audacity to come into this season praising what's been done to the roster and specifically the OL and then to see that product on the field is a joke

Ojulari plays in the SEC
Johnson plays in the PAC12
Ojulari is 21
Johnson is 24, will turn 25 in his first season (how old Burns is right now)
Ojulari was a leader on his side of the ball and awarded LSU's No. 18 which is only given to standout guys that exemplify what it means to be a LSU tiger
Johnson was caught on video sucker punching a fan
Ojulari posted a 7.44 3 cone with a hamstring injury
Johnson posted a healthy 7.33
They're not even close to the same level of prospect.
really not a point in even debating who's better
we didn't choose DJ johnson over Ojulari, we chose Mingo over both of them and then we grabbed whatever was left after the Mingo pick

So looks like Carolina reached in the 2nd and 3rd huh?
definitely reached on dj johnson, I think mingo was worth a 2nd and wouldn't have been there in the 3rd

as a Miami hurricanes and Carolina Panthers fan, not thrilled with this pick
granted he's been at Oregon for a few years, but was highly rated recruit and was soft his freshman year, couldn't see the field then transferred to Oregon, couldn't see the field at DE at Oregon either so played TE for a while then moved back to LB/DE
could be great I guess because of his athleticism but when it comes to making the NFL, especially as a third round pick ,the production in college is nowhere near where it needs to be not to mention the off the field stuff

Yeah Washington is a man's man. He looks like he's already been through an NFL strength and conditioning program. He's tall but powerful and rugged. Hes ready to get out there and mix it up and not be over powered and roughed up.
totally agree but is it not concerning that he was such a man amongst boys in college and had a very underwhelming college career production wise?
it's not like Georgia didn't score points either. Washington was the second best TE on their team by a mile
I'd much rather have someone like will mallory or even Luke Musgrave

If we pick anyone other than Young at #1 we will get graded terribly and become a laughing stock by the media pundits. None of the other QB's are close. At #9 I would've been fine with any, hell I would've been ok with getting Van Ness at #9 and then Hooker or McKee at #39 or the other 2nd that was traded.
the media pundits also thought Zach Wilson, sam darnold, Mitch trubisky, Paxton Lynch, etc.
I wouldn't be so concerned what anyone thinks and unfortunately, the first qb taken is not typically the best one in each draft

I mean, our kicker missed two game winning kicks.
if you're thanking people for losing he should be first on the list

I live in Ohio state country and do not like Ohio state so it pains me to really want us to pick stroud, but I really hope we do. he has a higher floor and higher ceiling imo than young

can't wait for the draft to be over so these click bait articles go away. same exact news outlets report a different qb every day smh

i think our white on black uniform combo is the best in the league. excited for a redesign but hopefully we don't fix what's not broken

excellent job by fitterer. Hopefully we can spend some on CB and ILB (maybe wagner or someone proven to be an instant difference maker)

Wouldn't need to cut or trade any of them.
I agree but with Fitz making deals left and right, a whole new coaching staff, etc. I imagine TMJ and Shi Smith need to show something and soon

I just read he was 33 out of 35. I clearly checked out of giving a fug last year as I thought he was a liability.
His kick offs good as well?
he just made sure to make 1 of those misses really really bad (and a PAT) in the atlanta game but hey it all worked out

so who do we trade or release, shenault, shi smith, TMJ?
-
excellent pickup, best WR corp we've had in a long long time. i'm glad we gave chark a 1 yr prove-it deal but hopefully we resign him next year, really like his game when he's healthy
-
very strange the representation that the texans sent. that's more telling than anything the panthers did IMO
-
i've made it known I think stroud would be better but honestly as long as our whole staff is on board with the pick and they are in unison, that's what really matters. don't need a situation where we're fighting ourselves for the next few years over this pick

I'm of the opinion that stroud will be night and day the better pro qb. I don't pretend to know more than our FO so we'll see who they choose

downs could be great, but if we're gonna hope he's there at 39 then we might as well trade our 2nd for hopkins. That or sign chark and then use the 2nd on an edge / ILB / CB

lol twisting a narrative? I'm good with Stroud or Young. He just described Young as a player and went so far to say the combine and pro day don't matter...it could be a smokescreen but I'm not twisting a narrative. Anyone with half a brain can tell he's describing Bryce Young.
I mean 1 reporter asked about height and mentioned an "alabama qb" so fitt answered
another reporter asked about russell wilson and his height, and he answered that question
reporters were clearly trying to dig to see if height mattered but just ebcause a reporter didn't ask about cj stroud doesn't mean he isn't the guy. you're saying we're picking young based on responses to questions driven by the media, not based on actual information provided by our staff. do you see my point?
he's never going to down talk a potential recruit and he's not ready to come out and say who we're getting so his answers are dictated by the questions being asked
anyone with half a brain cell can tell that

probably not, evero is probably a serious candidate and temper doesn't want the same thing that happened last year... the fan base to fall in love with the interim
he probably should have been offered it but I bet tepper avoided a wilks situation again where the interim was
