  1. this thread could go on for 100 pages point is both rhule and darnold need to be gone next year if we have any hope of progressing
  2. I'm sure the saints, falcons, or bucs have room for an extra fan
  3. man everyone in here is so whiny. still plenty of time left ladies and gents
  4. Following Dave Ramsey's principles changed our life. I would highly recommend anyone looking for "money tips" to read the "total money makeover" and follow " the ramsey show" on any podcast app. it's monday-friday for 3 hours so I listen on my commute every day. paid off $60k in debt, we live now in an affordable area where we should have the mortgage paid off within the next five years (just got it last year) and being debt free has allowed my fiance the ability to stay home when we have our first kid (hopefully next year). wouldn't be possible if we hadn't sacrificed and paid off debt by following the baby steps.
  5. Sam Darnold threw 11 interceptions already this year. Cam also had 12 rushing touchdowns many of which could have been passing td's but the scheme called for runs, and he had a high completion %
  6. the ticket ploy was kind of weak, kind of making it look like it's all for show but I believe Cam still has some left in the tank
  7. I say play action deep ball to robby on the first play of the game. Nobody will be expecting it at all
  8. Let's go pats! a 5-5 falcons team would be so annoying even if we do own the tie breaker
  9. I think we're going to see a heavy dose of CMC, Chuba, and PJ mixed in with cam getting comfortable on slants and a few deep shots
  10. I knew darnold would never be great but I did think he could be a game manager and with our defense I was optimistic he could get us somewhere special just by staying out of our way. I was wrong about that and he couldn't help himself, led the league in interceptions and blew his opportunity. Oh well he had his shot
  11. haven't been back to charlotte in years but in week 2 I bought tickets to the december 26th game against the bucs. Can't wait! i don't want to see brady or rodgers in the playoffs, I want the cards or rams
  12. lmao the only team without a qb and they have freaking taysom hill instead of anyone we have
  13. I agree, coaches and GM's can't make many moves like that and keep their jobs. losing those picks is rough but trading a ton for Darnold and having him cause us to lose Reddick / Djax would be even worse imo. I hope we don't get caught up in the past and make the most of our current situation and maximize keeping that defense intact
  14. can you imagine the hype if Cam is even 75% of 2015 cam and we win 5/6 of the last 7? would be absolute chaos and I am here for it
  15. yeah but the difference is Cam was signed two days previously. PJ has been in this offense for two full years and knows the entire playbook and we can't can't trust our starting qb to throw for more than 10 yards on 29 passes? time for Cam to take the reigns I'm sure it'll be 70% cam 30% pj or something like that as ease cam in
  16. yeah considering the mess we're in now, looking forward I would gladly burn a 3rd and a 5th if it meant keeping gilmore and reddick
  17. I'm a Miami Hurricanes fan so this week has been awesome. First Cam comes back to the panthers, then the hurricanes fire their AD (with Manny Diaz being next)
  18. ultimately we're going to have to hope that a lot of QB's go down with serious injuries in the offseason or early into next year and are willing to pay for darnold darnold is bad but he's got one more team in him before he's booted from the league
  19. they'll either trade henderson or bouye in the offseason or let Gilmore walk in my opinion but I think we lose 1 cb total, they see the value of having a stacked defensive backfield trade darnold and a pick (anything but a 1st) to get enough cap to keep reddick
  20. I agree but that's not the point of my post. He was forced into short throws due to his inability to make accurate reads and good decisions. 3-14 for 33 yards against the giants. 22-29 against the cards which is great, and I don't have the stats here to support, but I bet 90%+ of those were short dumpoffs and RB screens. People want PJ to play because of his knowledge of the playbook, but if he knows it so well and yet our offense is limited when he's in, then whats the point? play cam
  21. the backup qb is always the most popular player on any nfl team I think people on the board have their minds cloudy from how much they hate darnold. PJ is not good, he's serviceable and that's it. Thank god we got 2 short fields and a short yardage package with Cam because our offense was entirely vanilla with no aggressive play calls out of fear he wouldn't be able to do it. I mean hell, McCaffrey had 10+ catches, that tells you the game plan and how little the coaches trust PJ to execute
  22. we can't let the fact that we made a bad decision impact our future decisions. the reality is now even if we trade sam + a second rounder in order to get cap room for reddick then that is the equivalent of trading reddick for a 2nd rounder which we all would do in a heart beat it is what it is, but trade the man and anything but a 1st to keep gilmore/djax and reddick
