Yeah our cap guy is definitely the one calling the shots and making Brian Burns disgruntled. Poor Scott Fitterer just can't do anything here.

First it was all Rhule, now he doesn’t have that to hide behind so it’s Samir. Tepper needs to can this goon already and let Morgan run it.

He blamed all the QB grabs at Rhule but talked them up in all the press conferences prior to them sucking. He should be fired on some of his trades and extensions alone.

  2. Yeah so we cut him only to carry 2 open roster spots for about a week and then feel one of them with a 5th ILB while we are short at DL and have yet to sign a 3rd QB to the roster or PS.

I hope he’s okay. I was definitely one of his critics on here but he also did get to do something none of us will ever do.

Will add that if you know the guy has mental health history, maybe it’s not the best thing to trade up for him and post on social media about how great he is doing, then when he comes back from injury give him a vanilla offense all preseason with the 3rd OL and talk about how much you want to keep him but keep 5 TEs and an open roster when you cut him. That’s a roller coaster for some people and their livelihood.

  3. So apparently Burns’ agent is Todd France who is apparently well known for being difficult to work with during negotiations. It looks like he left CAA and started his own group. He also represents Dak Prescott, Harold Landry, Grady Jarrett, Josh Allen, Tremaine Edmunds, and Justin Simmons.

For those unaware, Prescott still has yet to sign an extension despite negotiations going on for a while.  Here are some recent contracts he has negotiated.

    Grady Jarrett DT- 3yr/ 50 million (2022)
    Justin Simmons- S 4yr/ 61 million (2021)

    Josh Allen-QB 6yr/ 258 million (2021)

    Tremaine Edmunds-LB 4yr/72 million (2023)

    Harold Landry- LB 5yr/ 87 million (2022)

What's the largest Week 1 blowout loss in franchise history (thus far)?

2009 we lost to the Eagles at home 38-10 when Jake had another meltdown following his meltdown in January against the Cardinals on his birthday.

We lost to the Redskins in 1997 24-10 and the Falcons in 2006 20-6.

Also notable we lost to the Giants 31-18 in 2010 and Packers 24-14 in 2004.

Everyone saying we dont need to pay him what's the alternative at this point? The Rams trade is gone. Try to trade him for a first?

Biggest younger OLB names this year are Josh Allen, Rashan Gary, and Montez Sweat. I'm sure the first 2 will be paid over 20 a year.

You could probably trade him for a first and next years 2nd to replace some of the picks lost to the Bears. You could probably squeeze an average starter out of the deal too.

  6. Falcons 19-17.

What superstars have came from NC in the last 10 years?

SC off the top of my head has produced Deandre Hopkins/Clowney/Stephon Gilmore/Deebo Samuel just to name a few.

Keenan Allen, Melvin Ingram, Alim McNeil, Landon Dickerson, Dexter Lawrence, Javon Hargrave, Jaire Alexander, Ikem Ekwonu.

Not all are superstars but very solid players.

I’ll take their first, Jones, and maybe another 3rd rounder at this point.

Or I’d really love to get Adams and their first, but that might not happen and it would hurt our pass rush a lot.

Give me a 2023 1st, 2024 2nd, and Jerry Tillery or Bilal Nichols.

We get a DL, our 1st replaced this year and our 2nd replaced for next year.

    And cap room.

Colorado -2.5 looks like a bet the farm wager

Nebraska will probably have to keep the Buffs under 20 to have a chance to win. This is a home game for the Buffalos and that sold out crowd is gonna be rocking and a very hostile environment. Anyone really think Ruhle is cut out for a rivalry game of this magnitude? 34-16 Buffs easy

No they just have to keep them to 17.

  11. I don’t know about the Super Bowl but I think the conference championships will be Jacksonville/Cincy and Dallas/San Francisco.

I think Dallas takes the division from Philly who I think willl have some Super Bowl fever going on and stumbles into the NFC CG due to a weak NFC. Meanwhile San Fran just runs the ball over everybody and Wilks puts together a good defense.

I think Pederson gets Jacksonville’s offense rolling and Cincy starts slow but picks up momentum towards the end of the season.

I don’t buy the Jets hype, I think the Bills are due a down year, and the Chiefs are always in contention. Miami could do something in the AFC with an improved Defense but they are still Miami. I can see Belichick pulling something together maybe as a last push especially with Bill O’ Brian reunited with Jones and their defense looking stout.

The NFC is a free for all with San Francisco sitting on top. Dallas’ defense will win them some games. Seattle has a shot to make some noise and I think if Campbell can get Detroit back in the swing they were in last year he can take the division but probably not much further.
