That is . . . not a good career from an NFL prospect point of view.
The vast majority of college QB's see their completion percentage drop when coming to the NFL, and that guy doesn't have any room to drop. And it's not like he was airing it out.
Not sure what we saw here other than a guy who might know the Jets playbook.
Our back up QB completed 40% of his passes in the preseason. It’s decent for us.

For me, there are 2 FAs available I think would be great additions to the team this year.
Benardrick McKinney is only 28 years old. The former pro-bowler stands at 6-4, 257lb. Could be a solid veteran presence to the LB core, even in a backup role.
Tyrell Crosby is a swing tackle from Detroit who has started and looked good at both Left and Right tackle. May have been released because he was unhappy about losing his starting gig after Detroit spent a top 10 pick on a tackle in the draft.
What FAs are you watching?
QB Jake Fromm
QB Garrett Gilbert
FB Alex Armah
LG Forrest Lamp
RT Bobby Hart
LB Jahlani Tavai

Denver, Philly(lots of doubt form me), colts(without Wertz), Wash, and someteam Ive over looked(Pitt?).....Panthers look like they have the least talented or bottom 3 for sure until Darnold shows something.
OL, QB, and LB need to be ALL the picks next year. ALL OF THEM.
Is this English?

Was thinking about this earlier. Has a year of practice and transitioning to the pro level while job shadowing our long snapper the last 14 years. Smart call.

I have more confidence in Armah than Ricci.

Joe Brady would be familiar with Fromm's play at Georgia when they took on LSU
I think Fromm would fit. Morgan is also familiar and probably had a hand in drafting/scouting him.

If Will Grier had won the backup job I’m sure you and David Newton wouldn’t still be going on about possible replacements.
Because Will Grier completed at least 40% of his passes.

So what positions (starters and depth alike) on the Panthers are the most likely to be changed up via the waiver wire and free agency?
I am thinking K, G, C, OT,
Entire O-Line, DT

The Pats cut a QB, I dont remember his name but he could be an option.
He didn’t go to Temple. Stats don’t matter remember.

Why are they keeping so many TE's?
They will probably trade Thomas and/or release him and/or Thompson. Don’t know if Ricci is going to hang on either through waivers or Hoskins.

Garrett Gilbert is floating around out there. Would fit the Brady offense well.

There was a lot of talk that some team (including potentially us) might trade for him but it never materialized.
Go for it

What is our count down to now? I’m counting 63?

Lamp has had a torn ACL and broken tibia since being in the league. Was drafted by the Chargers and coached by Pat Meyer. Started all 16 games last season and led the league in total snaps. Was a second round pick. Bills just released him, would not be surprised if we pick him up.

Lions just cut Jahlani Tavai. Picked in the 2nd round 2 years ago. Could be decent depth at LB.

Skura was released by the Dolphins. He was the Center in Baltimore for 4 years before joining Miami. Apparently he has struggles with snapping the football. Wonder if he could make a transition to Guard. Could definitely be an upgrade to the interior and Center-Guard is one of the easier transitions on the OL.

I think we need to hit up the waivers for a K, FB, DE, LB and swing tackle. Slye is done and we don't have a legit FB on the roster. I am uncomfortable with the depth at DE, LB and OT. Theses 5 positions I would target after final cuts IF there's an upgrade available.
I’m just admiring your profile pic of Kelvin Benjamin.
