They should put PJ at LT since he solved all of our problems according to the Huddle.

Beuerlein haha, Weinke, there was false hope there, Moore, your wanted it but the team was no where near as talented, K.Allen was just fool's gold bc some folks hated Cam.
I would love to hear Delhomme's point of view on PJ, I'm quite sure, many of us would be surprise at his take
His point of view would likely be to sign 3 new QBs because they are all horrible.

“Since the XFL and Temple”. Like 3 years ago. I’ve been a fan since 95 and I’ve seen the “back up QB is better” for 26 years now and it was only true once (Delhomme).
I remember when Beuerlein was the answer, when Weinke was the answer, when Basanez/Pike was the answer, when Moore was the answer, and when Kyle Allen was the answer.
PJ Walker is not even close to being the answer. He’s not better than Darnold or half of the folks I named above.

naw he just has his own fans base that goes back to the XFL and some people remember him from Temple.
Well somebody needs to inform y’all he’s garbage.

PJ had a lot of accounts these days.

The coaches couldn’t bench their 63m dollar man lol. Watch the lions game again. The tempo of the offense was far superior to that of any led by teddy
Kyle Allen was better than PJ.

How long a leash will they give S.D if he is struggling? Half a season? The entire season? P.J is the only option if they have to look elsewhere. Grier is not an option.
Will the coach pull the plug if the starter isn't working out?
Everyone is forgetting he went 10/21 and threw a touchdown on accident.
He had 1 TD and 2 INTs in his start. And threw 3 INTs against the Saints.
He is butt.

See who can get the most right.
I say:
Ivey, Hyman, Clark, Donnerson, Julius

Is there a Panthers QB in our history that is worse than him? I don't think so
I'd rather they bring in someone that can throw the ball downfield and be aggressive even if they aren't accurate. Or someone that can run. Grier solves no purpose. He doesn't have an NFL skill and he's slower than molasses.
Let me introduce to you *Pickles*

yeah that was soft.
dude earned the right to show some fire, he ran through like 8 dudes.
I’m for relaxing the taunting penalties. But also need to relax the helmet/helmet and roughing the passer penalties.
Reset everything to the early 2000s minus the tuck rule.

A co-worker of mine that was transferred to a different office called me over the weekend. He had his first and second dose about a month ago and tested positive.

I'm not hating on Will, I just dislike the way people try to discredit PJ by trying to somehow say Will pulled the wrong straw....
What translates in practice carries over to the game, the proof is in the pudding.
Basically Darnold shouldn't have ne more problems with the 1s then PJ had with the 2s...
Here's the main difference....Will : I just ran what was called...
PJ: I dunno I was just having fun, I heard something on the headset, coach was yelling on the sidelines but I just KNEW I had to make a play, by getting it to my playmakers...
Alright so if the stats were reversed today you wouldn’t be trying to justify that PJ was taking snaps from a DT and playing with DIII athletes?
Honestly they are both garbage and we should have a true QB2. I want them both to be successful but we have a 3rd round pick in Grier and 3 years on the roster.
If it comes to the two of them, I would rather Will be the guy since we have so much invested. But only if he is truly more talented, and we will only see that with them in same circumstances.
-
He and Haynes played most of the 1st half with the 2s. The second half was mostly Herron, Donnerson, and Miller at DE.
Morgan Fox is probably the started but I think YGM is safe at second string.

This....
That's exactly it.
Everything else is excuses...
PJ must have started making accounts on here.
He went 6/10 with two drops.
Walker went 10/21 with 2s on the O-Line and Marshall, Moore, and Tremble.
His touchdown was literally on accident.
Calm down on the Will Grier hate, PJ,

Our run blocking looked bad. We were bad at it last year. We ran more with Will. Partially because we need to figure out our run game, and partially because we don't trust Greir. When he got his shot on 2nd and 3rd downs, many times the ball was uncatchable. Those passes have to be spot on, even with some pressure.
Probably because Martez Ivey was his LT and our DT was his Center.
He went 6/10 and there were 2 drops.

Hope it isn’t serious
I hope he’s okay but like the post said he may have gotten lucky by getting on IR if it’s serious enough. The staff really likes Keith Taylor and Oliver doesn’t look that bad this year either.

While we at it...let PJ get a crack with the ones, give Sam some more time to.... whatever he needed this week.
The 3rd preseason game, a whole half of Darnold...
But that line needs to be addressed now, starting 5 should be ready by next week or have a better ideal of who and where
I’m not opposed to that. Let them all get a crack with the 1s,2s,3s. I’m not against anyone of them. I just don’t want people to come to conclusion of the guys future with Martez Ivey at LT and Giovanni Ricci catching the ball.

Was he throwing from a clean pocket? Do you know?
Let's face it honestly, most here have hated him since he was a rookie so don't consider that he was playing with 3rd, 4th, 5th stringers today. No Marshall, no Hubbard etc., so comparing the two QB from today's game is classic apples and oranges comparison. People here should seriously start thinking, instead of just reacting from thoughtless emotions.
Exactly. If he gets reps with the same personnel PJ did today next week and sucks I’ll eat my words on here. But if he does well 90% of the folks on here will disappear.

I can't see how they justify keeping Grier around at this point. They will need him for the third preseason game, and PERHAPS put him on the practice squad to run the scout team. Other than that, I think PJ showed today he is light years ahead of Grier.
I don’t think so. PJ took his reps with the 2s while Grier had to take his reps with the 3s.
Grier had somebody in his face every play. Ivey was is LT and Monteiro was his RT.
Giovanni Ricci was also his only receiver getting open. PJ had Marshall and Moore.
Brady also ran the ball 7 times and passed it 21 when PJ was in. He only threw the ball 10 times and ran it 12 times with Grier.
Let Grier take his reps with the 2s next week and see if we have the same opinion.

Beating the Jets would defiantly set a better tone for the season, than losing to them. Especially if all 3 phases play well.
I think we start 4-0 tbh. It’s the later part of the season that’s going to be the problem.

He will be a guard when we get more depth at tackle. My guess is we will fill the left or right side tackle spot (depending on how Moton does) in FA or R1 in the draft and they will move Christensen inside.
Erving will be 1 and done here. I’m slightly more optimistic about Eiflen

1 TD-5INTS last season.
Maybe he can play Safety.
