I have no idea why Coker gets so much love around here. He may develop into something at some point, but he’s just not an impact player right now (yes, I know he had a long TD vs the Cowboys). People on here talk about him like he’s an all pro, then you watch the games and he’s nonexistent. I can’t remember a more overhyped player on the huddle.

For a copy cat league we never copy any of the good sides. I know alot here aren't sure about Bryce but there's only one way to know for sure get him some better weapons. Even if he's not the guy it will be a much better environment for the next guy
They tried to in this last draft. This team just sucks at drafting.

31 points at the half. 2-20 from three.
Lee ain’t it

true, but it's a tough reality to accept often that it's all we can ask for....from the #1 overall pick, we gave up the farm for, in year 2.
I don’t disagree with you, but we gave up the farm to get a starting QB and Bryce is starting to show signs that he can be that guy. Yeah, we gave up a ton and Bryce still has a long way to go, but he is improving and I’m excited about that.
If it takes him 3-4 years to fully develop, so be it. That’s better than him being a bust and the team having to start over at QB.

Other than trading up for Young, trading up for a RB with a torn ACL in the 2nd is one of the worst picks I’ve ever seen. That was the last thing this team needed. Whether Brooks works out or not, that pick is indefensible.

18.6% from three tonight..lol
Salaun is too raw at only 19. No one can say what he'll ultimately be 3 or 4 years from now. But waiting around for that is not a luxury this franchise has. We needed production out of that pick now. It's not looking good at all.
At this point I think Lee is just doing all he can to keep this team competive given the circumstances. But there are some tough decisions ahead. Might get worse before it gets better anytime soon.
What is the strength of Salaun’s game? What is he good at?
He’s the least athletic player on the court every time he’s out there. I see absolutely nothing there to develop.

Hornets lose to the worse team in the NBA. I don’t know what the problem is, but they need to figure it out. This is absolutely pathetic for all the talent we supposedly have.
8-43 from 3. That is an absolute joke. Melo gets his, but this team is hopeless on offense. I don’t expect Lee to figure it out.
Also, another dud from Salaun. I see absolutely nothing in his game that makes me think he’ll amount to anything.

Yep. Lee could have at least put in some ball movement to get open 3s since he wants to be a 3pt shooting team. But no, he just lets them do whatever they want except for the rare out of time out play.
I was excited to see what the team looked like on Monday with the team being back to full strength. Like most of the season, the team is just unwatchable. Every possession is the same. There’s a pick somewhere around the top of the key and then missed 3 or turnover. I turned the game off halfway through the 2nd quarter.
What I don’t understand is Lee coaches so hard during every offensive possession for the entire game. He’s constantly coaching during the possession. Why? Do the players not know what they’re doing? Do they not practice? And for what? Every possession is the same sloppy offense every game. Whatever he’s coaching isn’t working.
This team is frustrating. I feel like they have too much talent to be this bad.

This will humble us a little bit... WOW. This team really thought they'd arrived and was totally feeling themselves because they had a couple of competitive losses against good teams. I mean... oh my god LOLOLOLOL
That mindset comes directly from our rah rah “Mr Positivity” head coach. It’s pathetic.

wanting "your team" to lose is weird
I can promise you that I was not wanting the Panthers to lose. There’s definitely something to a team learning how to win. However, today was pretty much the best case scenario. Bryce took more major steps forward today and that is really the only thing that matters right now.

You can win with today’s Bryce Young. Can he sustain that and continue to improve, I have no idea. But todays Bryce Young was very good.

Time to release or trade mark williams. So soft and pathetic seeing him on the bench every night. Seriously needs to toughen up. Doesn't act like he cares about playing
Dude sat out 4 months with a bruised back last year. He doesn’t give a damn about basketball. He’s shown he doesn’t have a competitive bone in his body. You don’t win with players like that.
As good as Lamelo is, the team better start winning soon or he’ll start making “business decisions” just like last year.

Turnover after turnover after turnover after turnover. And Lee just stands there clapping. Drives me nuts.

Diabate plays with more hustle and heart than anyone else on the team.
I love that guy. He’s quickly becoming my favorite player.

There are just too many guys on this team that brings absolutely nothing to the game. It’s Ball and Miller and then a bunch of jags at best.

What I can say is, last year’s team would have mailed this game in in the third and fourth quarter. But these guys are full of energy and never quit.
They’re taking on the personality of the coach. I’ve never seen an NBA coach coach as hard as Lee does for an entire game. I’ve never seen him sit down.

I know Salaun is young, but man, he’s hard to watch. He brings energy, but other than that, he brings next to nothing. He plays so stiff and looks so unathletic out there.

That team tonight was a hot mess.

They’ve been really sloppy in the first half.

Looked like he landed on his tailbone. He'll finish this game and then be out for 4 weeks.

Cmon no one can possibly know what Canales is or is not. I just listened to the post game and the guy has to sit up there and pretend there is a solution. You know what he wants to say is I can't make lemonade from oranges. If you take me and a few of the posters and put us on the field no matter how much coaching you do we can't be fixed to compete.
We friggin replaced 6 out of our 53 ten days before the opener. No one saw that as a red flag? Who ever it is that is responsible for building the roster is to blame.
Boy, do I have some bad news for you!!
