  1. 3 touchdowns, 2 DOTS and yes I said DOTS on crucial 4th downs for touchdowns to beat the #1 team. Context matters big dawg. national media sees it but a panther fan doesn’t lol
  2. Brotha a dot is just a perfect throw. That’s all it means. It’s a pass that’s on the fugin’ money. Typically would be used on more tight window/intermediate throws or deep balls. The touchdowns to Coker And Tmac were dots, almost any football fan would agree Comparing people calling those passes dots to people saying Bryce can’t throw 5 yards is just nonsensical. One is objectively wrong, the other is subjective
  3. I concede nothing! I just agree McMillan was the primary read. The rub by Legette gives that away. I strongly disagree with the idea Bryce was merely throwing to a pre determined spot, and the play was designed for Tmac to turn upfield and track the ball after it was thrown.
  4. I won’t disagree with your main analysis of the play design and I think you’re probably right about Tmac being the real primary read here. But how do you figure Bryce was just throwing to a predetermined spot on the field? You’re 100% certain the play calls for McMillan to break off his route after the ball is thrown, head upfield and go get the ball Bryce is throwing to a certain spot? You don’t think it’s possible Bryce just threw it over the top with the corner inside and underneath and McMillan adjusted? What you’re describing makes FAR less sense and would be pretty unusual. The fact you can say it with absolute certainty, like you designed the play yourself, is pretty questionable. If you were able to correctly identify all of those very specific variables you should absolutely be coaching in the NFL!
  5. Nuance is not allowed in the Bryce discussion. You pick a side. Everything must be black and white. If you are true anti Brycer you must never concede Bryce made a good throw. If he throws a dot you must call it a duck and say you saw it flutter. If he has a good week, or is improving in weak areas, it’s because we played the falcons or the running game carried him. Any good deep throw is pure dumb luck and happened to fall in the receivers hands.
  6. Uhhh hello first time all season finally gets one to drop? How about Legette against the falcons? McMillan just this past Monday? That’s 4 deep/vertical shots for touchdowns in the last 3 games lol what are u talking about
  7. Really not difficult to see if you’re looking objectively. Tmac did a great job adjusting immediately and making the play. I personally thought it was a pretty creative, ballsy play by Bryce and that’s exactly what I’ve been wanting to see from him
  8. Leggette is long gone in this frame? And McMillan has a hand literally touching him. What happened is Bryce threw him upfield and McMillan drifted up with the ball. McMillan was continuing on his line until bryce threw him open. It’s clear and obvious but you don’t wanna see that for some reason? It was a great throw, late in the progression, on 4th down in crunch time against the best team in the NFL. It was a dime.
  9. @Navy_football already posted this, but take a look at McMillan when Bryce is throwing this ball. Would you define that as wide ass open? Would you say he has much, if any separation?
  10. Those are absolutely fair criticisms. You are definitely a lot more reasonable with your assessment of Bryce than others on here. A lot of people here are majorly downplaying any good plays he makes and refuse to give any credit where it’s due. Some others are just spewing vitriol towards our quarterback and I find it pretty odd, especially when we’re winning
  11. I was gonna post this exact same screenshot lol. I made this entire thread as bait bc I kept seeing people bashing our quarterback and giving him no credit for making these ‘routine’ throws to ‘wide open’ receivers. It was 4th and 3 with the game on the line and Bryce went for it all. I mean he threw McMillan open. All that space you see on the TV angle was created by the throw. I get he is frustrating and sucks a good portion of the time but the throws he made in those big moments today were tremendous.
  12. They were both 20+ yards downfield. Do you not see the defender a half step away from Coker? If you watch the McMillan play, when Bryce throws the ball, McMillan is running horizontally, covered. Bryce leads him upfield and Tmac drifts up with the ball, creating all the separation. They are perfectly thrown balls downfield on 4th down for touchdowns. DOTS
  13. Yeah I’ve never heard those parameters for that phrase before, I’m genuinely wondering where he got them
  14. *were both 25+ yard over the top passes that hit the receiver perfectly for touchdowns to beat the fuging #1 team in the nfl LETS fuging GOOOOOO
  15. He had 450 yards 2 weeks ago brotha, and there was no run game carrying the load
  16. Thank you! This is really the only amount of nuance to the discussion I am hoping for. The ability to give some credit where it’s due. We are playing the most meaningful football we have in almost a decade. We’re more relevant than we’ve been in an almost a decade. This poo is exciting. I mean I get it, Bryce absolutely sucks sometimes. No way around it. It can ruin my Sunday watching him when he’s off. His inconsistency is absolutely unacceptable. But fug, when he balls out, makes some great throws on 4th down, can we just appreciate it a little? If he’s gonna shoulder the blame for every offensive failure, can he not get some credit for its success? For the longest time it was the deep ball everyone had an issue with. And that was absolutely fair. But damn he’s been throwing it and hitting it with real accuracy lately, it’s exciting to watch!
  17. I agree with this take 1000% and can absolutely appreciate your ability to have some nuance in your thought process
  18. No there are truly not, there are very few on here. Somebody has to take the other stance to get some real discourse going around here
  19. 100% he absolutely deserves criticism when he plays poorly. Which he does fairly often. But even when he does play well most on here wanna keep ripping him and giving the credit to anyone but him. When the team plays poorly all the blame goes to him, when we play well he gets none of the credit
  20. Yes RJK you are one of the strange fellas that throw personal shots at the guy
  21. Buddy. Your extremely narrow definition of ‘dot’ isn’t the same as everyone else’s. It’s just yours. Do you think that pass on 4th down was 15 yards? How about leading him upfield when your boy was covered, running horizontally. The ball couldn’t have been thrown better. It was a dot.
  22. Somebody has to be on the other side when it’s 99% haters on here right? Do yall really wanna just get on here and furiously masturbate together over your hatred for the guy?
