It's 2nd and 1. Know the situation, Bryce

Gronk has no chill, damn.
Sick of us being a laughing stock. Hopefully it'll change this year.

Depends entirely if they go retard and start Ninjasack, BC is actually better in pass pro than Ickey.
Yeah true, we'll see what happens

Just worried about the Jags pass rush. If we can hold up there, I like our chances
-
Damn, that was a game the Cowboys could’ve stolen on the road. The Miles Sanders fumble going into score could’ve been the deciding factor.

Go coach your kids flag football team and stfu, you sound like the drunk guy at the bar blames the QB for the defense giving up a 99 yard TD.
Get your eyes checked too lol.

What an embarrassing performance by the team as a whole tonight. And people wonder why we’re the clowns of the league.

Well to be fair, no one was really open. His 2nd down pass was rough though

Meh, it's preseason. Honestly, I think he was significantly over hyped but we'll see.
He had no blocking. Watch his last run. He was hit 5-7 yards behind the LOS. Still made a guy miss but was swarmed by multiple defenders. Box scores don’t always tell the story. Esp when he had primarily backups blocking for him. He’ll be fine.

Lmfao the average "good" rookie season for all first round WRs is 700 yards and 5tds....
That includes all high first rounders, while he is a first rounder pretending 32nd is the same same as top ten Is hilarious.
Lol 700? Ok. Speak for yourself. MHJ had 885 yards last year and was widely considered a disappointment. Same with Rome. Find me any fan from those teams and I’d bet you they expected both of them to have better seasons. Nabers and Thomas both had well over 1k. Thomas was pick 23 and is already a top 7 WR. Even early 2nd round WR’s are expected to perform. Ask a Patriots fan about Ja’Lynn Polk. They’re already wanting to trade him. WR’s entering the NFL are more pro ready than ever before with the 7on7 culture in HS and passing attack college offenses. All I’m saying is that XL needs to show vast improvement this year. He is already 24 years old. When you label a 24 year old WR as a developmental player, maybe he’s just not that good. But keep coddling him if you’d like.

XL has the best day of the receivers, and fans complain that he's not catching it away from his body, with his hands.
First of, he's catching them. That requires hands.
Second, should we ask the QB to not throw the ball less accurately?
This place just gets so damn insufferable.
Catching the ball with your body in the NFL is not sustainable. Period. Yes, he caught the ball and had a good day, but that doesn’t fix the root of his problem.. EVERY clip I’ve seen of him this TC has been him cradling the ball with his body. What’s going to happen if the DB is riding XL,s back in tight coverage? Multiple times last year the DB got to the ball before XL because he was waiting for the ball instead of attacking/plucking the ball out of the air with his hands. Watch how TMac and Coker catch the ball. It’s night and day.

XL basically had one season of production. TMac had multiple. We knew Legette was going to be a work in progress when we drafted him.
If you folks had all this patience for Bryce and still do as a third year player idk why you harp so bad on Xavier before he's even played a single snap in the regular season of his second year.
Well comparing a QB and a WR is a lot different. 1st round WR’s are expected to make an impact immediately. Plus, most people didn’t have patience for Young.. Reminder when he was struggling? The pitchforks were out. Only his play on the field changed people’s opinions. XL was a first round pick. He needs to perform. Plain and simple. No more excuses.

It’s insane how different he and TMac are. Watch his TD catch he looks slow off the line with no separation then somehow just snags a TD catch out of nowhere way away from the DB. XL is just the complete opposite in every way.
Granted, the ball was thrown a little behind him which makes catching the ball with your hands more difficult, but it’s every clip without exception. True though. T-Mac is a pure WR who plucks the ball out of the air. It’s a pleasure to watch. Young looking his way constantly in the first joint practice says a lot of how it’s going to be this season. Can’t wait.

Why does this have 11 pages?
I thought the same thing. Somehow i missed this thread and the whole idea of trading an up and coming young WR for a LB with an expiring contract is silly.

Unless he suffers a severe injury. There’s a 99.999% chance Renfrow makes the team.

I hope so. We need him to step up

Maybe they have had faith in Demani Richardson for a while now. Hence why we never signed Blackmon or Simmons. Let’s hope he keeps it going. We sure need help that FS position.
-
He needs to stop being such a nice guy this year. I’d rather him be a little crazy like so much WR’s are. He comes across as timid and unsure of himself in his interviews.
-
It’s a shame that we didn’t build a strong enough/positive rapport with Frankie Luvu that would’ve convinced him to sign back with us a few years back. Still hate seeing him on the Commanders.

It truly amazes me that there are people in this fanbase so brazenly averse to simple realities.
I mean we're over here desperate AF to establish a culture. Really any kind of culture. And some of you need to have this explained to you why it looks pitiful to try and publicly drag a rookie over minor things like this.
You deserve a poverty franchise "bro".
If your idea of building a positive team culture is hitting the quarterback, then I have no words for you. Justin Fields just just went down by being pressured on a pass….. Anything can happen. Let’s lower that probability as low as possible.

I’m still wondering how the “super processor” decided to make that throw on the interception.
