Smart and charismatic kid. One of the best interviews I’ve listened to. Loved him explaining his pass rush strategy in detail.

Great draft so far! I still want an ILB. Would be nice to see Dan Morgan get Danny Stutzman or Jack Kiser

Now he’s on a defense that’ll make him shine if he’s any good
He lost a lot of money though.

Pretty funny that Mike Green thought leaving the combine early because of one highlight play was going to seel him being a 1st rounder. Lmao.

20 years old, bulked up to play the "containment" role at A&M, still had 5 sacks, trimmed 20 lbs off for the combine, and his comps have been Trey Hendrickson and George Karlaftis. Not to mention the guy's character is top notch. Love it.
When I was watching Shemar Stewart’s combine interview during combine week. When the interviewer asked him about Nic Scourton he had glowing things to say about him. Here’s the video. It starts at 4:20

carolina literally traded a bag of doritos to pick him
I wouldn’t say that. We moved back in almost every single round 10+ picks. I do like Nic Scourton though for where we drafted him at. He has an array of pass rush moves. Great motor and great vs the run. Early on in the draft process he was mocked in the first round in every mock I looked at. Facts are at 51, any prospect that you draft is going to have a few concerns.

Give me the UCLA edge. I like Landon Jackson a lot, but I don’t know if he’s a scheme fit

No chance of getting Ez if we don’t trade up IMO
Not a fan of him anyways. He’s too small

Yeah he's excellent at making contested catches, I'll give him that. Big, slow receiver that can't get open, but he can make contested catches if you're willing to throw it up into these small windows. Take that FWIW if you think it's worth the pick.
So slow that he consistently had a faster GPS tracking speed than Mathew Golden.. Also, had the 3rd highest PFF receiving grade vs man coverage of any draft eligible wide receiver. Take that FWIW. He does much more than just jump balls. He runs great in cutting routes, good yac, comes back to the QB very well, finds soft spots in the defense. There’s a lot to be excited about. At least give the kid a chance before trashing him.

This is a top 10 pick, not some mid rounder. Dominate him, no, but he should be winning his fair share of those snaps. Being completely blanket covered anytime he's lined up against TH and producing 15 yards, for a #8 overall player? Yikes.

Dude is a head case. All you have to do is watch his NFL combine interview videos. He gives off crazy weird vibes

If only we took the Ladd last year. TMac would’ve been a perfect fit with him.

This team is looking at 6 or 7 wins if people stay healthy. Small steps towards relevance. The saying "Rome wasn't build in a day" pertains to the Panthers.
Who were you wanting at #8?

The fact that Sean McVay liked McMillan should give us a lot of confidence!

I will say this. I have been under the thinking for a long time that you do need two really good receivers now a days. All the top teams have them. I just think it's not at the top of the list when your defense is historically bad.
Seems like Morgan and even other GM’s (since he’s still available) are scared about Walkers size, traits, and film. I’ve said all along that if you watch Walker‘s film, it leaves a lot to be desired. Seems like other football guys agreed with that. Mykel Williams would’ve been the next guy up, but I don’t think he’s a difference maker and neither did Dan Morgan. TMAC is going to be a great player for us. Buckle up and enjoy the ride.

I don’t like not fast WRs, that aren’t really good route runners….for an O in desperate need of YAC and speed. We just spent a first on XL to develop.
not saying anything new or reactionary. Same thought posted earlier today multiple times
He’ll get separation by being twice the size of the DB and boxing them out for the ball.

With plenty of trade options, the #Panthers stick and pick: They select at No. 8 #Arizona star WR Tetairoa McMillan -- T-Mac.He's been quietly throwing with QB Bryce Young in LA. They two are already developing a connection.
Meanwhile, XL is riding horses in the country eating rodents.. This pick definitely shows us what Dan Morgan and Canales think of XL. He better get his sh!t together.
