Screw these refs

Oh look. Another impactful rookie we could have drafted besides a RB with a torn ACL. Screw you Morgan

I refuse to believe the game is fixed. “NFL is rigged” is just a popular, trendy opinion sheep have

I don’t think I’d sign him at that price tbh. 5.5 mill per sounds fair for a player of his caliber

Pulling for the Chiefs. Can’t support the Eagles fan base

Nice to day dream about him coming here, but the reality is there’s a 0% chance.

The hype train for Mike Green is out of control. Take away that one play from the Senior Bowl and I doubt people would be drooling all over him like they are now.

Dalton serves absolutely zero purpose. Either bring in a rookie or a younger vet
Bringing in a younger vet? Sure, I could get behind that. But wasting a draft pick on a rookie QB when we already have a million other holes on the roster is irresponsible. That should be out of the question. But you never know with Morgan, drafting a 1 year wonder and a RB coming off a torn ACL should’ve been out of the question too..
Plus, id rather avoid another Will Grier or Matt Corral scenario. We don’t draft QB’s well unless they’re #1 overall selections.

Why in the hell would we keep Dalton and woods?
Oops i read woods as likely
I don’t see a problem bringing back Dalton. Keeping the QB room the same after the strides Bryce made is a no brainer. Dalton seems to have a positive impact on BY. Also, he’s still a capable backup. Just curious, who would you want over Dalton?
-
Great news, but we need to start planning for his inevitable decline and improve our WR room.

Get Dane Jackson the fug off the team.

Not surprising. Can’t think of any other MVP winning QB who would say this.

What about WR? People keep saying we need to get Bryce McMillan because the Legett pick is starting to look like another bust. I'm willing to give him another year but don't sell Morgan short. His first draft sucked even more than your post suggests.
I totally agree. Meant to put WR as well but forgot. Dan Morgan’s 2024 draft is arguably the worst of any team in the NFL. It’s very frustrating seeing players who would’ve been perfect for us perform for other teams while we consistently pick duds that none of us wanted pre draft.

He was viewed as a relatively raw guy coming in and he mostly proved to be that. I don't think it would have been as noticeable if the rest of the defense around him wasn't so insanely bad.
If you get better talent around him, his fug ups while he is learning/adjusting won't be as obvious.
Yeah I remember hearing that about him. Just wished change that way we draft. Stop taking raw projects (Trevin, XL) instead take proven players

I think it’s still Wallace. He was not supposed to be ready last year but injuries made him play a ton. He has a nose for the ball and think will be okay this year
I kept hearing that he wasn’t supposed to play, but why not? I don’t understand why a 3rd round pick LB can’t play right away and perform. It’s a much easier position to play compared to others. MLB is similar to RB.. A lot of reading and reacting. Relying on instincts. If he was a 5th or 6th then ok, but it sounds like Wallace was over drafted if the expectations were that low. The ND MLB for Dallas performed great all year. Drafted a round or two after Wallace.
-
I do understand that Derick Brown’s injury along with the lack of talent on the D-line was the main reason for our atrocious run defense, but the lack of quick instinctual flowing MLB who can shoot gaps and shed blocks on a consistent basis was also a huge reason why our defense was so horrible. Trevin Wallace was underwhelming, Shaq hurt, Jewell had a few awesome games but overall was just ok and hurt a lot.
So my question is, does Morgan draft a pure LB in the 2nd 3rd or 4th round? Barrett Carter (Clemson) Smael Mondon Jr (UJA) Chris Paul Jr (Ole) Cody Simon (OSU) are all LB’s that would tremendously help this defense. And this is assuming we don’t pick Jalon Walker in the 1st. Or even if we do, double dipping on a LB/Edge hybrid like walker and a pure MLB might not be the worst idea.
Sucks that the positions we drafted last year early on (RB and LB) are still areas of need.

Umm cool, I guess? Maybe start with drafting players who make an impact on the field.

Kind of exciting that we’ll have a new kicker. Hopefully we draft one in the 7th.

Just when we start to escape our dead money, a player like Shy Tuttle comes along.

This fuging franchise just isn't good at drafting wrs. Outside of Musin Muhammad, Steve Smith, and DJ Moore. In 25+ years as a franchise.
I wouldn't be surprised if the get another wr in r1 or r2 this year. They'll keep doing it until we get a aj brown/dk Metcalf type dude they keep desperately trying to find
Tbh what is this franchise good at in general? I can’t think of anything.

You might see some changes post draft.
I REALLY hope so. Tbh I’m not sold on Morgan either. He needs to have a really good draft after last years disaster draft.

Stop drafting wrs with high picks lol. We drafted legette, Mingo, and TMJ in recent years and none of them have worked out thus far.
Sounds like we need a new scouting department then if they can’t do their job and evaluate talent.

I’d trade a 1st round pick for Howie Roseman
