The copper color in the cards hat is being featured in other texts associated with the team, where as in the last, there was little copper. Copper is on their state flag I assume. Also, there is a rumor that their team store is closed today through Saturday for an “event”.

The event in question is the Mecum Auto sale thing tho which has been confirmed.

And apparently this weekend or the coming week there should be some kind of announcement or unveiling for AZ.

And the Michigan loss. He drops some absolute dimes under pressure/off balance.

He might not be prime Russell Wilson under pressure, but the ability to handle pressure is in there, at least in some capacity.

This exactly is my point with Stroud against pressure. People just groupthink this bulletpoint. In games facing pressure against top defenses his stats are great 😂. This can’t handle pressure stuff is as overblown in my eyes as people who defend Bryce’s frame. Plus In pressured throws they had a similar QBR..

Will Levis threw a lot of screens from what I watched. I don't know if someone wants to find their passing charts for last year, but I would be Will's depth of through was much shorter. Also, Will Levis has played for multiple years in the college. In his first two years he had a 59% and 60% completion percentage, and then improved.

Something I came across on twitter (@Statsowar)

People don't really seem to put target share into account when looking at basic stats for some reason. Chark and TMJ would been 1k WR's last year with 100 targets. Chark obviously had an injury but no reason to think TMJ wouldn't have hit that number if Robbie didn't start out as the #2

Yeah he had 6 more targets and receptions than the 3rd leading receiver and double the amount of yards.  I think it's fair to give him a shot at being the guy.

I feel like the TMJ hype is just that. He's shown nothing to make me think he has #1 WR potential.

All I hear is he's 6'3 fast and athletic.

What about his route running? His hands? Can he beat the jam and create space?

You know the things that actual make you a #1 WR...

Mismanagement and poor QB play. TMJ flashed when given the opportunity and the targets.  You can't say "But DJ!" Because he was either getting a good majority of targets or the pass game was absolutely abysmal.  Yet, was 2nd in the team in receiving and always seemed to be making a big catch.

Is JSN even worth trading up for?

JSN wasn't even the best WR on his own team. If we trading up for a guy in the 1st he better be worth it. I haven't seen anyone say any of these WR's will be #1 WR's.

He was injured this season but was better than both Olave and Garrett Wilson the season before and both of them seem to have the potential to be GREAT college WRs.

THIS. I had a massive issue with the blue heavy “all black” uniforms. Folks were sooooo stoked to finally get black helmets.. but man those were a massive miss IMO. Big XFL vibes. We need to be murdered out.

I wouldn’t say XFL I just don’t know why they opted for the mono blue decal when the regular decal would have been perfect. It’s not like the jerseys had mono blue accents.

This is from a couple of months ago, and of course the player choice is unfortunate in hindsight, but I don’t mind these at all. I’d remove the two strips up the rib cage tho.

Tweaking the numbering a little, white or black facemask and these wouldn't make me regret being excited.

  10. In regards to the rumors which I think are very REAL.

I don't think the logo its self if changing.  We may see them add a logo/wordmark as an alternative logo

Silver helmets are basura, block lettering is low effort and could stand an update.  'Classic' isn't always clean, just the same as modernization can sometimes be overdoing it.  There is a way to modernize the font without going nuts.

We should def be in black/black primaries, its the freaking logo...

Excited, yet anxious to see what's coming down the pipe. They've had several years and other teams redesigns and the ensuing feedback to make a smart decision.

Don't deflate them all now with reality. They want to believe this is how championship teams are built before the new coaches can even get reps with their new team that needs a new culture and a foundation that has yet to be put in place.

Chark wanted a longer contract at more money. Reich wanted Chark as depth for his 3 WR offensive fit. So, rent him for a year and take care of that depth spot next season. Reich needs to find his big work horse/playmaker #1 WR now. Thielen is the #2 and Chark is the #3. Still a big void for Reich's play calling at that WR position. I believe he'll target a WR in the draft for that spot.

Only issue is, unless we find a later gem or somehow come up with another 1st round pick I don't see a lot of guys in our range that have the makings of a WR1, this may be a audition year for TMJ then attempt a splash next season type of deal.  Good WRs for sure this draft but when you get into the 2nd/3rd round there's a ton of questionable guys or guys who are better suited to the slot.

No, but it does give us more time to draft one and let him learn behind these vet guys for a whole year. Everything time wise is being set up perfectly.

Exactly, I still think we target one. Yet it gives us the ability NOT too if there's a better defensive prospect.

I believe these FA signings have showed us that Carolina has bought 2 years to find the future at TE and WR. Hurst and Thielen are on the wrong side of 30 and are a temporary fix....though will be productive here for the next couple of seasons.

We've got the next two offseasons to figure out our WR1 and TE1 of the future.

Thielen I agree with, Hurst only has 5 years worth of wear.  Can def see using him to set the foundation for passing TEs in the offense and bringing along more guys with his skillset by the sunset of his contract.  Get guys in to surpass him on a rookie deal or make a splash in FA in a few years. I could see him here for up to 5 years health and production dependent.

UGA game was just affirmation for a lot of folks

The truth is had his defense been even 1/5th better than they were the past 2 seasons this wouldn't be a question.  Biggest games of the year he cruised until they let everything past 20 yards go for TDs.  Had a literal shootout in the Rose Bowl the previous season.  Even though OSU didn't win in the big games he was 1575 11/3... He certainly wasn't the issue.
