Oh, I am gonna still watch. NFL Sunday is a tradition I plan to keep.

It’s a family thing for us. Games on every weekend and then a big family dinner. Daughter and son in law, my brother and his wife, mom, aunts and uncles, all are welcome.

Door is open, games on, and I’m always making enough for everyone.

  2. I wonder who could, with complete honesty, say that in June of 03 they were excited about the prospects.

Foxy hadnt worn out his welcome but he had found mediocrity after Siefert had us below the basement

    Rodney Pete was out starter

We had 89 and Moose but was anybody doing backflips over Rickey that June?

Kris was a monster and Jules hadnt started taking plays off but did anyone think they were all that?

Signed a Davis that was a shadow of his Pro Bowl seasons.

Mr Run Run Pass Punt himself was calling the offense.

You just never know who will catch fire when.

  3. Depending on the ratio of lean/fat that may not be a great deal

73/27 is cheaper all day every day at WallyWorld and 80/20 is only a few cents more.

Not trying to be a schmuck.  Just would need to know more than "fresh ground beef".

Biggest issue isn't whether the ball is over the line or not, but being consistent with ball placement when the player is ruled down

This and depending on how/where the sensors are does it change the rules from touch the line to touch the middle of the line.

Will there be sensors on both edges of all of the down markers or will there be only one monitoring the center line of the markers? Are the sensors in the base of the line to gain markers and in the end zone pylons or embedded into the field?

I have so many questions but Im optimistic

  5. Depends on the tech I guess

NFC would be unreliable beyond 1.5 inches so that would be a manual spotting of the ball and then the NFC could determine it it crossed the line to gain/endzone

RFID could do it - Active Reader Active Tag can read out to 300' but would need a battery in the tag so that seems unlikely where Active Reader Passive Tag would allow for a battery-less tag but would only be good for about 3'

Im looking forward to reading more and seeing it in preseason.  Ill reserve my opinion for games that matter until then.

As a former charter PSL owner (we sold our PSLs about 10 years ago), we went back and attended the Green Bay game last Christmas Eve. We were traveling for the holiday and decided we'd stay in Charlotte and catch the game.

Having not set foot in the stadium for 10 years, it took 30 seconds to realize nothing has changed. The fan experience is no different than it was when we left. Even the same, tired music between plays, the same "let's get fired up, rah, rah" crap. Even Sir Purr's routine is the same.

The best thing about the entire game experience was the fact the Panthers almost won the game against Green Bay- I think it was a bad officiating call that lost the game. Other than that, it was disappointing, to say the least, that nothing has really changed in 10 years. It only reinforced our decision to give up the PSLs was a good one. Don't miss it at all.

Last game I went to was Oct 30 2014.

Haven't missed a single game since but Ill never go to the stadium again.

I honestly don't know how fast food is making it. It used to be cheap. Now you can get much better food from a local restaurant for the same or less.

The GT40 is just hands down the finest thing the Ford Motor Company ever built and whether its a '69 or anything up to '73 Id give more testicles and children than I have for it.

Id differ from you in the Mustangs and go with the V8 Series from Aston Martin on my second choice.  Predecessors of the Vantage and then the Vanquish.

Id finish it out with John Delorean's first masterpiece with the 69 Firebird

I do love more modern MOPAR but what Dodge was doing in the 70s was impressive in the stats but laced any soul in form

A Ford GT is probably my ultimate dream car. 1970 Chevelle 454SS Chevelle probably number 2A. 1969 Boss 429 Mustang number 2B.

I know where my 2B sits right now about three miles from here in a garage under a tarp. It's been there my whole life. They've probably fielded a thousand strong offers for it over the years and it still sits there. If I ever win the lottery I'm gonna knock on that door and not leave without the keys.

Pulled pork reheats well. Just cover it with a wet paper towel. Brisket does too. I only slice what's needed so I can refrigerate the leftovers whole then reheat by the slice with it wrapped in a wet paper towel. Just heat it enough to warm it up.

Yeah but a full packer brisket is 15lbs of meat

I love smoking smaller cuts, Picahna and tritips are some of my new faves, but traditional cuts are just too big even with a couple on nights of leftovers.

Our arguments in the TB notwithstanding Im not trying to just be a bitch, happy for you that you that you have a clan big enough to enjoy it and youve posted some amazing pics.

    I just struggle with it
