  1. And DeAngelo is right. What is it to him? What if someone asked you why you didn't bring up the death of your mother earlier and how the people you thought would support you didn't?
  2. 1. His mother just died last year 2. Why bring it up last year while still on the team causing a big distraction? 3. It's February now. He's not on the team. The team can better deal with it by Week 1. 4. Pay cuts only put you in cap hell in the future
  3. DWill says JR didn't reach out to him and posters here are attacking DWill. Huddle logic ftw. He has every right to be upset if the organization did nothing. What if your mother died and no one within an organization in which you loved and worked hard for did nothing? Yea, how petty of him.
  4. YES YES!!! THANK YOU JESUS!!!! THERE IS A GOD!! YES !!!!!!!
  5. Wow already. It sucks, but it had to happen. Will always have my #34 jersey.
  6. I think Matte Gray would be better
  7. Mine is eggs, bacon, and grits with coffee. That's as close to heaven as I can get. You?
  8. Evan Mathis was god awful when he was with us too. However, I think he was a prime example of the lack of coaching we had there at the time.
  9. Lacina was a guy I was about to mention. I was looking back at our previous seasons starters and was like Corbin who? Then I remembered the awfulness that is Bernadeau. I can't even remember Corbin which means he probably was pretty bad.
  10. Captain certainly belongs. We've had Eric Davis, Doug Evans, Terry Cousins, Ricky Manning, Reggie Howard, Chris Gamble, Ken Lucas, Melvin White, Josh Norman as corners expected to start. Yes there have been worse corners that were backups that started a few games due to injury. But if you're talking about those expected to start, Captain was one of the worst, if not the worst corner. I've never seen a starter picked on and abused more than him. Easy INTs that just fall into his lap that not even Armanti Edwards could drop don't count. Ricky Manning is close behind, but at least he was decent. Same for the others I mentioned. Munnerlyn as a starting CB just simply could not cover. The only times he could is when he held on for dear life which drew penalties or he was facing subpar receivers. Our front 7 masked a lot more of his lack of coverage skills as well.
  11. Like I said, we've had some really bad o-linemen over the years. Just like our safety position. It can be easy to pick another pile of poo over another pile of poo.
  12. Yes Matt Campbell was a solid guard. He gave me his gloves back in 95 in Clemson after the Colts game back when he was a TE. The original #87. It was freaking awesome.
  13. WR Legedu Naanee LT Byron Bell LG Mackenzy Bernadeau C Justin Hartwig RG Nate Chandler RT Matt Willig TE Michael Gaines WR Keary Colbert QB Jimmy Clausen FB Scott Greene RB Richard Huntley DE Jason Peter DT Nick Hayden DT Sione Fua DE Jay Williams SLB Dean Wells MLB Dan Connor WLB Hannibal Naives CB Rashard Anderson CB Captain Munnerlyn SS Haruki Nakamura FS Deke Cooper K Olindo Mare P Ken Walter KR/PR Armanti Edwards On offense, we've had some historically bad linemen. Our starting RBs however have been at least decent. On defense, we've had some really historically bad safeties. Many to choose from there. Our LBs have been strong overall even since 95. Hard to choose the worst starters from our history. For the CBs, we've had a lot of backups start for a couple games due to injury. I didn't count those. I just counted those that were expected to start and were bad.
