  1. Glad Armond Smith looks to be sticking around. Hate Poole had to go, but Smith brings more to the table and, IMHO, is a better option at RB if we need him to do that. FWIW we might be looking at bringing in someone else at RB, too.
  2. Alleras (The Sphinx) = Sarella (Arellas backwards) Sand? If so, what is she doing at the Citadel in Oldtown with Sam? hmmmm... As for the "song of ice and fire" I believe that if R+L=J, then the song of ice and fire is the story of Jon Snow... The product of an Ice and Fire relationship...
  3. maybe you'll like this, Panthers Nation... it features a guy rapping that's better than probably 99% of what you like...

  7. I finished Wool this weekend. I HIGHLY recommend it. I had no idea that it was going to be a movie, too, and with Ridley Scott even. I might pick up the prequels soon.
  8. I dunno why, but this made me laugh out loud for a couple seconds... here's a pic so I'm not OT
  9. Really digging the atmospheric riff in this song, even though the djenty part isn't technical at all... and I really like these vocalists... If you like the Deftones and want something heavier sometimes, check these dudes out...
  10. ...and some more proggy djenty spacey metal y'all can't fug with...
  11. some newer hardcore kids that I'm digging
  12. Instrumental so don't be afraid of scary vocals...
  13. I had to put Gardens of the Moon aside and I happened upon Wool at Walmart of all places. I'm about halfway through it and would recommend it wholeheartedly thus far. It'd be a really quick read for anyone that sets time aside for reading, as my reading time is usually only in bursts of 15-30 minutes. It is very well written and easy to follow though. And, it is a cool concept for anyone who's a fan of futuristic dystopian future fiction.
  14. When Genna Lannister (Jaime and Cersei's aunt) said this: Could she have been speaking literally?
