Agree this team is ass overall.

Id rather we get out from under that contract while he excels somewhere else. We can use that money to get some veterans on defense in the secondary and linebacker rooms.

This team is completely in the gutter and won’t be competitive until 2024 at the earliest.

Going for two is the right call from an analytics standpoint. 
 

However the analytics also assume you have a decently functional offense, which we don’t.

People were by and large even more excited when Brady was hired too. 

This is accurate. I was more than willing to give him a chance and supported him through the firing of Brady. However, the fact that nothing got better after the Brady firing and the way he handled cam coming back did it for me. That was the clearest evidence that the guy is just a talking head with no clear idea how to run and organization. 

Should have been done in the off-season. What a wasted year. This could have been a competitive year one for a new coach in which we are progressing towards a playoff year next year with the right qb. 
 

Now it’s a complete throw away which will be followed by another throw away year.

I’ve come to grips with the fact that he is here until the end of the year and it is going to dramatically improve our draft position by him being here. 
 

We’ve got four winnable games left on the schedule. Two against Atlanta (though they are clearly a better team than us, one against New Orleans and one against Seattle)

Im thinking we end the season with three wins and pick just behind the Texans in the number two spot next year. 
 

New coach will inherit a talented defense, a stable offensive line, some nice skill positions and will then need to draft his qb and sign a journeyman backup qb to start the first six games or so (like a foles). 
 

Not a bad head coaching destination. 

We owe some apologies to Joe Brady and Teddy Bridgewater. Turns out neither of those dudes were really the problem. 
 

it’s Rhule and it’s always been Rhule. 

The fact that Rhule wasn’t fired after season two tells me two things about Tepper (both equally as scary). 
 

1.  He puts his money ahead of logical decision making. (Most likely in my opinion)

2. He didn’t have the foresight to see what a bunch of jabronies on a message board could clearly see after two years.

Exactly. These dudes aren’t motivated by all that entry level sales poo. They are motivated to excel in their role and get the big pay. Good coaches figure out a way to make a handful of those players coexist together to deliver success. 

I think he gets two more games. I doubt they trot Darnold out there right off the injury. 
 

Mayfield is gonna get abused by these next two defense and then is gonna turn the reins over to Darnold.

We have a serious problem with offensive play calling and the common thread is Rhule. 

The Eagles remind me a lot of the 2015 panthers. That option read running game is deadly.
