  1. It's interesting for sure to contemplate how these players will be used.  2 guys like Burns and Reddick, and 2 guys like Fox and Gross-Matos.  You can spell either of those players with the other, or overload with 2 of the guys of the same specialty.

A few weeks ago I heard pat Kirwan and Jim Miller on sirius nfl radio rank top pass rushes in the nfl and they surprisingly ranked the panthers at 2 & 3.  They seemed quite high on ygm.

They even said they didn't expect the panthers to be as high as they ended up but their film study led them to like the young defensive talent.

    Hope they are right.

Yeah hopefully, but having both Burns and Reddick will get you in the conversation for best pass rush.

The Carolina Panthers are utilizing Fox as the starting right defensive end opposite Brian Burns, with DaQuan Jones and Derrick Brown on the interior. This quartet has made their presence felt in no uncertain terms during camp so far and hopefully, it’s a trend that can continue when competitive action begins.

Sounds like Yetur has not yet secured a starting role in TC, per Cat Crave.  This is disappointing in the fact that he was thought to be skilled on running downs, which should have at least secured him a 2 down role.

With Fox's size, I cannot imagine he offers much in the way of pass rush from the 4-3 DE position.  He is apparently much better suited to play 3 tech DT or 3-4 DE.  Yetur apparently has some upside in the pass rush area, but it's not yet been realized.

I have heard nothing on him in training camp coverage.

  4. And what specifically is missing from him game that prevents him from contributing?  Is it ability, football IQ, work ethic, other?  Any camp insights into him?

PFF ranked him very favorably amongst safetys in the 2020 draft class

After being one of the best safeties in college football in 2017 and 2018, allowing less than 45% of the passes into his coverage to be completed, he dominated the XFL by intercepting two of the eight passes into his coverage while generating one quarterback pressure and five stops for the St. Louis BattleHawks. He intercepted seven passes and broke up another five as a collegiate player, and — as you’ll see below — he projects as one of the best playmakers in the class as a result.

With coverage very much a weak-link system, teams can never have enough players who can cover, and Robinson projects as a guy who can cover the deep part of the field well. While his lack of experience in the box or in the slot is something of a concern, he will have a role at least in sub-packages early on, as more and more teams play with three or more safeties on the field at the same time.
