the Panthers were the first to take a RB.  One that blew his knee out and isn’t even healthy.  And this is a weak RB class. We also happen to be the worst team in the NFL.

I mean, maybe walking out of this draft claiming you were the first to draft a RB in round 2 isn’t a brag….and we shouldn’t have be demanded to like or are a Debbie Downer.  That’s just not how teams do it 2024

Taking a RB top ten isn’t how it’s done these days…but teams are still doing it. Taking the top RB in the second is not a problem.

Just pointing out that you are advocating the same thing that we mocked a rival for doing. I'm glad you already know how it will all work out. I apologize for upsetting you. Maybe you don't even need to watch anymore then.

Wut. What we did isn’t really similar to what the falcons did at all. Top ten is way different than middle of the second. Guy that will play this year vs a guy that won’t. Big difference.

Not everyone will be fans of a slot corner early, but I'm personally sold on the player.

Thing is, ILB is critical for our two-high shell.  They need to be fast sideline to sideline, be able to close in quickly, hover all over and Shaq coming off injury scares me.

Colson or Cooper could make a lot of sense.  Don't know how we'd do if we're looking at journeymen at LB this year.  Very important for the Fangio disciple defenses.

If not one of the centers, Cooper/Wilson/Colson are my preference.

Panthers could easily trade up for any player this late in R1 if they really wanted someone.

I was starting to get my hopes up if Brian Thomas lasted til around 25 or so we’d move up to get him. Jags took that temptation away though.

  5. You’re not wrong but if he performs on the field I’ll take that over Bryce’s garbage any day. Not that I think they’re anything alike but people love talking poo about Cam, Baker and Burrow’s personalities too. Doesn’t matter as long as they stay out of trouble and produce results. Time will tell where Caleb falls on the spectrum.

  6. Yea Falcons should (and hopefully will) get slammed hard for this tampering business. But even without that, Kirk Cousins is solid but the team still isn’t good. Their O is super overhyped based on college production. The RB they got last year looks good but he’s no Barkley or CMC. Their young WR and TE are dookie no matter how much people wanna hype them based on their college days. (And by dookie I mean compared to expectations. They’re mid, objectively).
