  1. Which is why they need to move to Anaheim. Get out from the Lakers shadow because they will never be the number one team there. Thanks to Sterling's ownership, it would take generations of success for that to be possible.
  2. Actually that is missing the context that Irving and James sat out. The excuses for Kevin Love are starting to run thin.
  3. Thank goodness they traded for some Knicks to help them out!
  4. Would love to see an Atlanta or Toronto deliver them a first round exit.
  5. The elephant in the room: Cleveland will never get peak LeBron. Also, the supporting cast is so young, by the time the supporting cast has enough experience to make a finals run, LeBron will be way past his athletic prime. Also, you know this already, but not having Josh Smith on your team works wonders.
  6. Not even trying to talk trash and yet you take it as such. Can't blame you though. Atlanta is second best in the conference and no one is talking about them so anything anybody says that isn't blatantly positive must be a slight. Happens alot on the Huddle.
  7. I have no idea what that means but I was pointing out the absurdity of said result given the context of the two teams' seasons since then.
  8. Except lance Stephenson three point heaves for some reason.
  9. Just saw a neat stat during Spurs-Blazers. Tonight's Celtics-Wolves game was the first without Rondo or Garnett on either roster since February 1995.
  10. Late night Wojbomb: Kings fired Mike Malone. Wow...
  11. After the hype machine he has been since he was in high school, this would be shocking. After over a decade of being beaten over the head by ESPN that this guy was the best player since Jordan, it's tough to picture a league where he's not the centerpiece.
  12. He needs to go to the Vince Carter School of How to Age Gracefully in the League As A Freak of Nature.
  13. He's just doing the typical Georgia native thing of not being a fan of the home team unless it's the braves.
  14. Since when did they start wearing the teal and purple pinstripes?
  15. It's actually a brilliant covert tanking plan: Keep Kobe around and give him free reign to jack up all the shots he wants to chase Kareem's record and simultaneously shoot the Lakers out of ball games. As long as Kobe is around talking about being competitive and scoring points, no one will ever accuse them of not trying to win. What makes the Lakers fascinating this season is watching this freelancing Kobe. Last time the Lakers went into a talent lull, Kobe demanded a trade. Now all of a sudden he wants to remain with the organization? It's brilliant.
  16. I had as many assists as Kyrie Irving did tonight.
  17. An extra forum costs Zod $. Besides, if it gains as little traction as some in here are predicting it becomes pointless. This compromise allows the Panthers fans who aren't Hornets fans a reason to generate traffic in the forum while saving the Huddle some money. Big game threads especially late in the year can take up an OT thread in the forum since they could potentially have playoff ramifications for the Hornets but this is more for acknowledging "Hey! Klay Thompson had a good day!" or "Hey! I'm at a Nets game this is cool!"
  18. Hate to break it to ya, this is fake. There are plenty of these same exact letters on the Internet photoshopped with various universities. For starters, University-issued letters have the official school seal on the letterhead, not one of the alternate athletic logos.
