This is love. I see it coming.

Teddy was a backup in New Orleans. That's what he was. No longer a starting QB at that time and couldn't solidify the starting spot from old man Brees and was soon known NOT to be the future of the franchise in New Orleans.
Sound familiar? Not Teddy's fault. I'd give it a go for the check he got. Old friends getting a guy paid.

I'm so glad to see guys come back to the Carolinas as make such a huge difference. MJ deserves credit too, our court, our uniforms, fire! MJ deserves credit for bringing our history back in the name of the Charlotte Hornets. LaMelo's jersey is soon to be everywhere. This is remeniscent of the early Hornets when teal and purple went worldwide.

I've said on this here site, at worst Livingston, at best Magic.
At 6'8" playing point guard and these passes?! Magic.

That would be perfect for both teams. Trey Lance is a good replacement.

I like Derek Carr as a QB, a lot. Remember his brother played here with those super white mickey mouse gloves?

You've got to go all out! The payoff would be extraordinary!
This is a guy who wouldn't scoff at moving to the southeast, it's home.
"Fit" is also important in long term decisions, Stafford showed that.
Watson needs to be the absolute FOCUS of our QB upgrade. There may be no better "fit" for the Panthers.

The Panthers, to sell seats and compete sooner not later need to be THE first team at Houstons door every time they open that m'fr.
Make it so!

Uptown Monk!

This coach has an embarrassment of riches. Mitch is that guy. Nothing is wrong with this roster. He needs to find his rotation. DeVante and LaMelo work well together so thats great going forward. Hopefully PJ is back soon. Im proud of this team and the uniforms are fire! Starting to see more teal and purple in Charlotte again. As it should be.

I think you have to factor the style of play in.
Quarterbacks like Tom Brady and Drew Brees are definitely built to last longer.
Because they are meticulous about getting the ball out fast.

No offense but we were discussing Matthew Stafford not Watson, I must be missing your point.
Stafford has sailed. No need for discussion really accept for what the next step should be. That's all.

This needs to happen NOW!

It was fairly clear he wanted to go to LA and the Rams give him a chance to win now. Detroit with a classy move to do that IMO.
Maybe Deshaun believes he can revive this Panthers franchise.
Yes he could. He would, and already is a rockstar around here.
Houston should try to show some class. Nobody is just one player away from the Super bowl, move on.

I want a young QB, and that contract, use that additional cap over the next 3 years to field the best team possible.
Truly the draft is the best way to go for US. #8 is high enough to get A QB.
People are stuck on this guy and that guy but Jake Dolhomme almost won us a Superbowl.
Pick a QB that you think will be better than a Jake. After surgery Jake just wasn't the same. Avoid QBs who have already been surgically repaired and I think we're good.
THIS draft is full of guys that fit that description. Physical freaks like Lance or Trask may be there at 8 or after 8.
This QB rich draft has quite a bit of potential starters. We could go BPA @8 (defense) and still pick up a good/great young QB by moving up into the mid-bottom of the first with a trade of picks/players.
We could come out on top of all this, but will they do what's logical? Not sure.

0 playoff wins
10-59 against playoff teams the worst ever (Shannon just brought this stat up on the show)
yeah idk why we would offer up number 8 for what ? 4 years at most for an above average QB ?
panthers not getting him will be a blessing in disguise.Yes, being in EVERY deal may not be wise, but then again has this new ownership shown us any business smarts on the football side yet.

DeShaun loves us. Doesn't he?

I’ve never seen a team that sold a rebuild so hard “can’t build a winner overnight” try so hard to win overnight. Makes me think they’re just flying off the cuff with no real long term plan on how to build this team. Teddy didn’t make sense here and neither does Stafford.
Flailing.

This is the most talented Hornets roster since the early 90's.

This could get ugly. They just need to part ways.
