To those who think we'd have to give up too much to get Watson, what is it that we've got that is better than a franchise QB? We've already seen that a franchise RB doesn't win you games. Aside from DJ, Brown, Burns nobody is untradable when it comes to the #1 position on offense. Watson would make whomever you had left better.

How has he mad I clear?
Check one of the previous 80 Watson threads. Insider said someone close to Watson said Carolina was the sleeper and he'd love to come "home"(close to Clemson).

Watson has apparently made it clear he likes us and we like him too. C'mon make it happen. He WILL accept a trade to Carolina. That's obvious, get it done Fritter!

Nobody is happy. All respect due but if the doors were open, nobody is coming to see Rozier or Graham. Let's be honest. Everybody everywhere wants LaMelo to start rookie or not.

Good, this may push the Watson saga to a conclusion.

Question the OP. He's very intimately familiar with the area and region having spent a lot of time around here, around Panthers. So why not? If the Panthers can use that to convince him to sign off on a trade, why not? I'd trade picks. Picks aren't proven weapons in the NFL. A weapon like Watson is a proven commodity with both national and local appeal, moreso a couple hours down the road. Win win.

He don’t care about being near home, it’s about money. Players could care less where they are playing if It pays them millions.

Their PR is already pretty bad, if they let him go for nothing they will get bad PR for that also.
If anything the longer it goes the more of the chance Watson's PR looks worse.
Clemson is "home". So it's pretty obvious that he's a fit here. You don't have to wonder if he wants to stay here, HOME.
DO IT!

Folks seem to be ignoring the fact that the Texans are not obligated to trade DW.
If it comes down to dropping the no-trade provision and getting out...
...or having to stay...
...which do you believe DW will choose?
Nope. They don't have to.
If the relationship is broken and they can ultimately get something out of the break up, they would be foolish to take on the insueing PR backlash. That clause makes any trade an amicable one.

Everything you said is spot on. The problem arises when the cellar dwellers chime in with ridiculously inflated offers that we can't remotely match. That's when I hope we will laugh in their face.
Someone will assuredly out bid us. Our only hope is his list of teams will be short. If the Jets or Dolphins are in the mix then we're pretty much out. They have to much fire power.
DeShauns no trade clause gives him control of where he may land. That's why they're looking to him to see where he may allow a trade to happen. It's in his court. Unless he stays.

If trash talking Teppers football management gets you a job I should be team president.
No, seriously. A lot of flailing on the football side since his tenure. A lot of PR gafs and mistakes. Didn't handle the Cam situation with any grace at all. Will Grier could have gotten us the same record for much less cash and a lot less hubub.
I could go on.

At the start of the process.
Yeah, we have a cap guy, but Tepper apparently thought that having an analytics guy in the GM chair would be better because we already had somebody who could do talent evaluation in Matt Rhule.
Rhule felt differently.
And thankfully, he won that debate.
Good point. I could only hope that dynamic takes shape. I've always felt a coach should have more say on the roster. It only makes sense. John Fox and Ron never had that opportunity. Ron has that power now though.

For that reason alone, Lance or Trask.

Much too high a price for damaged goods. 3rd round just to see if he holds up to an NFL beating.

Cam had rotator cuff issues. Wilson had a labrum tear. They're not at all similar.
Cool then. Already had shoulder surgery. No thanks.

Damaged goods. No thanks. Already had a surgery similar to Cam. How long will it hold up with NFL bodies delivering crushing blows? Small frame too? Nah yo.

Make advertisers pay NOT readers. Charging readers on the interwebs is a good way to bury one's self. You have to create a demand before anything else, it's not like the print game.
I used to read or buy the Observer daily/weekly, can't tell you the first thing about them now.

Someone let me know when we all wake up and the virus will have "disappeared, just like a miracle," as the president has promised.
Remember, “People are really surprised I understand this stuff,” he said. “Every one of these doctors said: ‘How do you know so much about this?’ Maybe I have a natural ability.”
I read a supposed supreme Court indictment that included this plandemic about 8yrs ago.
Attached to that info 8yrs ago was the information that due to the SUNs changes the virus would not work. DJT was correct in saying "go into the sunlight". Remember solariums?
Also in that information was the disinfectant one can drink DJT was ridiculed by the media for mentioning . I know a lot of people with that machine who are not in fear of any of this.

Dr.Cooper ran the President of the United States out of town. President said our governor was nasty to them.
Charlotte needed that economic boost.

Politics is driving this whole thing, period. Just our rotten luck a pandemic broke out in a presidential election year.
They don't want people voting in person. Why not?
