i would personally love to know if baker mayfield's many flushes out of the pocket were due to unavoidable pressure from tackles whiffing on blocks .001 seconds into the play or if he could've stepped up into a pocket with acceptable interior line play and didn't.
this to me is the biggest overarching question about the offense right now.

he only had one yesterday but it was early so we all noticed it

Could've fooled me.
So PFF is essentially saying ALL pressure is coming from Ickey and Moton. That would be false...
And it also doesn't explain the avg pocket time of 1.1 seconds lol.
anecdotally i have seen baker repeatedly flushed out by ends storming past tackles and driving him outside of the pocket

Ban is kind of extreme don't ya think. We have many posters that post more absurd comments than this and are still here.
it's like giving a fake hundo to a homeless man. uncommonly cruel given the desperation

you're telling me players aren't buying into a brand simply called "the brand" as an entity unto its own? i literally can't believe this

Oh and you were inside the organization? Pretty sure a racist wouldn't have a black players over at his house from time to time. If you are old enough to remember, Jerry would invite players over. Smitty was over there several times. Again Jeans Friday is like a cop finding a roach in the car ashtray. Technically wrong? Yes, but come the fug on man. At best it's creepy, but dude was like 80 and had a heart transplant and couldn't stay awake before halftime of a football game. Was he really that big of a threat? Hell, I bet you were a Watson supporter up until like the 23rd accuser. That was the biggest kick I got out of the Watson saga was the hypocrites that drug Jerry through the mud were champions of a REAL sexual predator, not least of whom was our current owner who stood on some faux moral high ground talking about the dignity and respect of his new ownership after taking over for Jerry Richardson. As soon as a QB was available with Jack the Ripper like predatory behavior, morality-smorality, who gives a flying fug. He's a QB!!!!
Again, Jerry wasn't perfect, but I think it was a hit job within the organization to move ownership.
just lol

didn't a bunch of nfl execs say rhule's regime was the least meritorious in the league? turdball way to run a team and the chickens are coming home to roost
-
how many throws did baker actually miss? i counted three game changing drops from shi smith alone. more from others (thomas, CMC) plus fumbles and poo, baker was hardly the problem here imo
and let's not forget the tackles played horribly and he was running for his life every down

Has a coach ever been fired after 3 games into a season?

I don't think Tepper knows jack poo about our past. You think he'll reference our 2013 season turnaround when assessing Rhule?
not directly no, but that happening was a reflection of the ability and arguably litmus test of a ball coach to turn around a foundering team
-
if we go 0-3 and keep matt rhule i am done.

week two of 2013 we were in season three of ron rivera's embattled tenure and a fanbase sick to their stomach and ready for his head watched his team drop a heartbreaker to the slapdick buffalo bills.
rivera blanked the giants a week later and that team went on to win the division. tepper knows this is a possibility if the team's on the brink and just needs to turn a corner.
if we drop one to the saints next week i think it's curtains.

it says a lot about the state of things that we need the opposing quarterback to show up with cracked vertebrae to muster any kind of optimism for a win
