He knew. Remember this interview he did after he got traded to the Panthers? Around the 26:00 mark
Hell no I don’t. He played like poo here and cost us the Green Bay game. fug his tiny hands and his 2 gloves. Chicken legged prick.

I think he’s gone at end of season, and Dan Morgan will take over

The defense has like 6 blue chip players and gets diced up every fuging weekend and cannot create turnovers. It sucks.

If you saw Tepper’s press conference yesterday, and if you still have hope for winning long term and consistency, good luck. I was scouting the chargers to chance my fandom, but going for it on the 4-2 on your own 47 when the dude hit a 60 yard fg to beat the panthers was totally stupid. He missed from 45 of course, but Jesus, Staley should have been fired on the spot.

We've heard players defend him, but I suspect how he treated non-players may have been a whole other matter.
I’ve heard this about Christobal from Oregon to Miami. Sounds about right.

Either way, only the players can make plays. I’m ready to see Darnold just to see something different, not because I wanna see Darnold

It was a completely obvious PI. He was all over him before the ball got there. He basically does this consistently
Time to up the script Larry.

CJ is killing this team…we need to play someone else, but won’t
That wasn’t even close to PI

I don't understand this current culture of attacking fans when your product stinks. Fans make it possible for you to do what you do right?
No. Owners do. Fans are icing on the cake. Look at major league baseball

I didn't see anyone post this yet, but this video cracks me up. Shannon's rant is amazing and Skip's reply had me in tears. The first few minutes are gold.
I don’t see anything comical at all about this. I see sad. And sad makes me drunk on tuesdays.

As someone that remembers all the Ken Dorsey hate back in the day I find this hilarious.
I’m not saying Ken Dorsey would not be a good pick for head coach eventually, but he’s literally 4 games into his first year as Offensive coordinator and the real brains behind this offense was already hired away last season. Let’s keep things in perspective.
This exactly

GF and I made the trip up from ATL to watch this poo show. About midway through the 4th, we moved down to right behind the bench since at that point the stadium was probably at 20% and security didn't care. Being my drunk, obnoxious self, I started heckling Matt Rhule (and there was no way he didn't hear me). I thought it was pretty telling that the O-line group on the bench closest to where I was sitting was laughing along with me as I hurled insults.
Just watching the sidelines and paying particular attention to body language, it is clear the players don't like him at all. Also, as much as Baker tries to hype up his teammates, it's pretty apparent that they are not very receptive to it. Just kind of a sad state of affairs here on Mint St.
I'll be back for the game against Denver, since my GF's best friend is a diehard Broncos fan and wants us to show her around Charlotte, but otherwise I could give less of a fug about this team now. I wasn't even mad yesterday. This is the first time in my 20 years being a Panthers fan I've felt this way. Apathy is much worse than disappointment.
At least we can still get fuged up with the Roaring Riot.
They are laughing at you. Not with you. You’re just too stupid to know the difference.

Maybe it’s the coaching but this is awful. Even during the 1-15 season and the 2-14 season we had some offensive production. This is just downright terrible. 2 weeks straight and no offensive production whatsoever. All luck last week with the laviska TD
Don’t know if it’s the worst team ever, but they certainly don’t execute very well.

Well the one PI deep CJ stepped on the WRs foot accidentally. If some other team's DB stepped on a WRs foot and home they would have called nothing. Other teams get home cooking. Not us. All of our games are away.
I felt like that Female ref had it in for us the whole game. She gave me Jamie Pressley vibes. Awful spots and flags. She prob stayed at the Cardinals hotel last night.

Who cares. 98.8% of the time, the season is over at 1-3. Play whoever the fug you want. The outcome will continue to be the same.

The good news is at 10-10, I took the 32.5 point over and we proceeded to give up 16 points in about 4 minutes, which turned into a healthy payday for me. Loved it.
-
His contact was not what made that WR fall down. Pretty piss poor call. And to not get the one early in the game where Ian Thomas was getting his face pulled down by the Cardinals LB. Brutal.

Our home games have always been away games for the panthers. That has never not been the case.
-
Did we get 6 plays in the 3rd quarter?
-
It’s so awesome to be able to see a guy who was a core special teams player with one of the worst teams in the league growing to be an every down LB. It’s almost like coaches are coaching and this player is listening.

If they are happy with a losing coach, have at it. Either winning is the most important thing or it's not. Apparently winning matters less than loving your coach.
I don't doubt the players love playing for him. Again, I don't think that ultimately matters. The goal is winning.
People loved playing for Jeff Fisher too. But he was a losing coach who had a job much longer than he should have.
If a team isn't winning with a coach after a couple years, they have the wrong coach....imo. and my opinion is based on the idea that winning matters much more than anything else.
If his players like playing for them and we're still waiting for them to start executing going into his third season....then that's another huge red flag.
Something isn't right there. Something hasn't been right. At this point I don't expect it to get right, not by this coach anyways. He just doesn't seem to be able to make it right. They might like him, but he's not helping the win. He's not getting them there. That's his job and he's not doing it. Not well enough.
Fair points
What about Fritterer?
