The “I don’t want Young but totally support him if he were our QB” group is strong in this one… for the 47391st time. We. Get. It.

How many times and ways are we going to repeat the same cheesy crap over and over again. You’ll never accept Young because of size. That’s fine. Awesome. But we’re sitting here trying to knitpick things that don’t exist? Trying to make anyone afraid of 36 year old Calais Campbell? Man yeah can’t wait for his blazing speed to destroy our tackles and blindside Young and spear him into oblivion..

Let me ask the Stroud crowd HONESTLY. Had he scored highly on this test, would it be disregarded or put on a pedestal? And I’m a Young guy and that test means nothing to me, the tape he put up does.

I wanna see that he didn’t score well.

As the draft comes ever so closer, more people are out there scrambling for crumbs on who is the potential rookie QB the Panthers are taking.

If you take who QBs follow as an indication, then perhaps the following may be noteworthy:

It appears Josh McCown is only following Bryce Young from this upcoming QB class. Additionally, it appears Young is the only rookie following him back.

Could it mean something? Who knows, but it certainly adds a positive sign for the Young camp.

Oh, and Jonathan Jones also confirms he believes it's Young:

I think 99% of people think it’s Young. I think it will be Stroud! Mainly because I took Stroud +225

Everyone has a right to their opinion. But some don't like it when you go against them and say you are wrong but won't admit they may be wrong.

We can both be wrong. I will take the size and accuracy over the college escapability. I can’t get past the size.

This is how the Stroud crowd works. Slight Young however they feel fit but use the weak cop out of “but I’ll accept him if he’s our qb”. You don’t like him because he’s small and volatile. I won’t try to convince you to be comfortable with that. It’s valid. That’s fine. But I will keep the same sentiment that I think Stroud is destined for mid and won’t try to convince you otherwise.

The good news is, I don’t give a poo what you think, and you shouldn’t give a poo what I think. He’s slight, and skinny. Don’t want it.

Funny how much stuff comes out about folks just before the draft.  I take this with a grain of salt--

Everyone is fighting for clicks, and the more the attention turns toward the draft, the more some people are going to exploit some minor comment or point taken out of context.

From what I have seen and heard, CJ would be a great teammate and player, and I doubt he is no more difficult to coach than Russell Wilson, for example, and we never heard that much about his dispositions.

Literally the only thing real was Tunsil ripping that gas mask bong.

There are about 5-7 people in that building that see the actual draft board (which is electronic). It’s probably the most guarded thing in that building right now, anyone who says they know, is making an educated prediction. I can tell you from what I have seen there is much more hype around CJ Stroud from the staff.

As there should be. He is superior to Young in every single way except for off script movement which he didn’t show enough of, but proved he has the capability during the Georgia game. If we draft Young, we’ll see the backup 5-6 games per year till he’s outta the league.

No idea if this a good or bad problem to have. Brain is telling me Young won't hold up, red flags galore about size.

Stroud feels like the safer pick, Youngs ceiling is so much higher. If you truly think he survive an NFL season you have to take him.

I find it ironic that the guys that want Young have never played professional football (Tepper/Fitt) while the ones that want Stroud understand just how much of beating your body will take being a starting QB. Just some food for thought.

How do you figure Young’s ceiling is higher? Stroud has so much untapped running potential. Availability is so important, and he just won’t hold up.
