Thanks for not waiting 5 seconds to auto embed the tweet.

I'm still concerned with skill players.
We have arguably the worst skill group in the league. Maybe we double dip at WR in the 2nd. I'd like to see the TE and RB position improved as well.

No idea how we are going to find this much puppy chow to go around, but I love it.

He's the guy I want us to sign. Tall and fast can also be a jump ball target.
What's the downside?
He's 29 and can't stay healthy. He's a slightly better version than DJ Chark and probably twice the price.

Probably not. But with this years class and expected range of some of them, it might be hard to go wrong. Unless we find another TMJ or Mingo.
-
The nice part about having 33 and 39 is I think we are able to go BPA between Edge and WR at 33, then repeat at 39. Hopefully we start a run in WRs at 33 and get to take an Edge BPA at 39.

How much cap do we have left?

That stuff is great and all, but how about winning 7 games for starters.

Great job scooping Juan while embedding the tweet.
Also, good resign, our PR.

If one of either Mingo, Chark, or TMJ can develop on the outside with Diontae and AT in the slot, that isn't bad. It's a huge ask for one the 3 named above to be starting caliber though.

I'm a little torn on this move
On one hand, I love the trade in a vacuum, we definitely won the trade and fill a big hole with a good player.
On the other hand, he only has this season left on his contract and has been pretty vocal about his displeasure with his QB play the last few years.
If he has a solid season but Bryce still struggles, I could see him refuse to sign an extension and put us right back into the same situation next year of needing a WR and/or dealing with a franchise tag mess.
Was really hoping we'd be able to lock up a #1 WR for the next 3-5 years somehow this offseason, but I guess if we couldn't do that, this is the next best option, right?
There's almost no risk with what we gave up. We were going to cut Donte.

And just like that we have our Oline.
I'm expecting Higgins and we figure out the rest of the holes on draft day.
I don't think so. The draft won't plug the amount of holes we still have.
Still need starting caliber:
LB (multiple)
DB
S
DE
WR (multiple)
RB
TE
We need to continue to find vet quality starters at all these positions.

Bryce will have 0 excuses if they land Higgins for a 2nd.

Start looking into quarterbacks for 2026-2027 drafts. The Panthers will be picking at the top of both of them, most likely.
I don't know if Bryce can develop, but I doubt it now that this team has so little talent.
Tepper is probably keeping tabs on Baby Gronk.

This actually hurts our ability to get a #1 WR as the only path to it this year was through a Burns trade
We didn't get enough back to flip for a #1 WR
This was HORRIBLE
I mean, there were people on here who though Jeudy would be a #1 and he went for a 5th and 6th.
Ridley is still out there as well.

which second? It makes a difference.
Knowing us, probably the later one.

My guess a few pages back was a 2nd and 4th. This isn't a full on disaster as many will make it out to be.

This is going to be quite the first impression for Morgan.

My guess is a 2nd and 4th.

This place is going to melt down when the compensation is announced.

Why is no one considering double dip at WR?

I would much prefer to see who is there in the 3rd or 4th. Names like
Tez Walker
Rice
Burton
Malik Washington
Johnny Wilson
Cowing
