What I don't understand is why we didn't take one of the actual first round quality receivers in the first and then if we really loved shaq trade up to get him. I bet he still would have been there.

So this trade reeks of desperation. Gettleman seen receivers falling off the board and had to settle with a slower TE with bad football iq and is passive on the field. This wouldn't be bad if we didn't need speed.

maybe you should actually go out on this thing called the interwebs and do some researching

SMH we needed speed at WR and an OT going into the draft and we draft a LB in 1st and trade our 3rd and 6th round pick along with our 2nd round pick to move up to pick a TE. SMH.

I'm just curious where we play him.  We play a 4-3 base, but we only actually put 3 LBs on the field on a little over 30% of defensive snaps last year.  I don't see taking snaps away from Luke or TD to get him on the field, so he's either going to have to straight up play SS or he's going to have to play in some sort of joker role to see a decent amount of snaps.

Simple. in base 4-3, Shaq plays OLB. when we go to Nickel, slide Shaq back to SS and take Harper off the field.

Kroeger took a random cheap shot at Marc. Then after Marc jumped in the pissing match literally everyone started piling on and trashing Marc in defense of Kroeger. Random people, other radio hosts, even that weather guy Brad Panovich was getting in on the Marc bashing.

Personally, I think WFNZ is garbage regardless of who is hosting. But I guess at least Kroeger doesn't talk trash about Charlotte. Marc didn't just start bashing Charlotte after he left, the troll did it daily when he was here. And they both look like teenage girls with their internet pissing match.

The only thing I take away from this is that it seems everyone hates Marc.

all Kroeger did was respond in agreement to Garcia's tweet that Marc James looks like Christian Laettner and then James fired back starting the whole thing

my thought is that Gettleman's rankings are based on his end of season review and what the team needs are.

So, if Getts perceives the teams needs to be OT, S, WR then those are what he's going to spend the most of his time evaluating and ranking along with his love for pass rushers
