It was reported that literally everyone in the building liked young over stroud.  Everyone.  That tells me 1 of 2 things.  A)Teppers preferred Young and everyone fell in line or B)our scouting dept is from top to bottom filled with absolute morons and every person in there is wasting oxygen and needs to be replace asap

And it’s been reported many times that LEAGUE WIDE CONSENSUS was Young was the top QB n the draft. So based on your thoughts, fire every scouting department in the NFL

Seems logical to hire coach first who should dictate the type of offense and defense they want to run then let them help determine the person they think they could work best with to achieve their vision. Especially if you have search firm or consultant assisting in the interview process anyways.

I liked the way Adam Gold posed it on Mac and Bone this morning. Who is more important: the GM or the HC?

The HC is the one who dictates philosophy of offense/defense and then it’s the GM’s job to go find the pieces

And ironically he was too small to play QB...and iirc Armanti looked bigger than Bryce does currently.

    Still an awesome college player.

By the time he got the NFL, yeah he was bigger than Bryce , but I was at App when AE was and dude was tiny his first 2 years there. He worked at it though. Remains to be seen if Bryce does

  4. I’m starting to think we should’ve just hired Jim Caldwell in the first place. He’s gotta be having a big hand in the offense looking better and guiding TB as a play caller. Things looked VASTLY different on Sunday. Keep the staff as is but make Caldwell the head man

I saw an article where 40k people showed up to watch the Texas 6a HS championship game. They had over 200k attendees for all of the HS championship combined. Fuging HIGH SCHOOL games are drawing more attendees than Tepper's NFL team.

Hard to compare Texas HS football to the NFL b/c I’m almost positive that ppl in Texas care far more about their HS football than the NFL

My guess would be temper saw the headlines about how Brian Daboll assembled his staff in New York and thought "hey, why don't we do that?"

Turned out to be a disaster. Hell, it's not even looking so good in New York anymore.

I think he saw what Rhule did bringing in his completely outmatched college staff and wanted Reich to do the complete opposite and not bring in his buddies. He might’ve also seen how Reich’s end went in Indy on offense and didn’t want those coaches either. Either way, he needs to realize that, while trying to bring in the best coaches possible, they still need to be of one mind on scheme and philosophy so it’s a consistent message to the players

In all honesty, if Thomas Brown had been better with his situational playcalling….I think we could have won.  Though he was bad in big moments throughout the game.

I feel like this was the first game we actually saw Brown calling the game as he wanted to. I think those previous 3 games, he still had Reich dictating things. Overall it looked better and would hope it continues to improve as Brown gets more experience

They're losing recruits like crazy. They only have 9 committed recruits coming in next year. It's the 64th ranked recruiting class. They currently have zero 2025 commits. I think the high water mark for Deion's Buffs happened in the very first game.

Deion pretty much made it known the portal is his recruiting strategy now. He ain’t trying to develop HS kids now like he had to at JSU

So if this is true wonder why he also fired Josh and Deuce. Actually very surprised Deuce was fired as the RB are not the issue in this offense.

Kyle Bailey pretty much said on Smitty’s podcast, which was confirmed by Cam Wolfe on the same podcast, it wasn’t personal and it was basically to clear “elbow room” to have 1 vision over the last 6 games. Too many cooks in the kitchen scenario
