If Caleb Williams is as good as you think he is, then why would a team in position, just pass up on that. I highly doubt we’ll be in position to get Williams or Maye next year. This team is a 7-10/8-9 team.
Crap teams with young QBs already is who I hope will be picking at the top. Houston is taking a QB this year, without question. If that QB shows promise and they still suck, they're not going to double up on QB next year. Same reason the Bears won't go QB this year.

Check out his average time to throw. It's slower than almost anyone in the NFL. He's a helluva talent but the processing speed has to improve significantly because holding the ball that long isn't gonna translate to success in the NFL.
Is he processing slow, or is the offense that he runs dependent on chunk plays? If it's the processing speed, that is a huge problem because his arm talent would be top 10 in the NFL today.

Run it back with Sam next year and draft Quentin Johnston.
If the team sucks next year, trade everything you have for Caleb Williams.

Know who owns Mike Evans? Bradberry. Sure could've used a proven vet these past seasons instead of throwing money down various positional toilets.
Bradberry coming back would have elevated the entire team this year. Sucks that he didn't come home.

You just can’t leave our 3rd and 4th string CB on an island with Evans 3 plus times…
Not being close enough to commit pass interference on any of those plays was embarrassing. If you're gonna get your ass beat, at least tackle the dude before the ball gets there so he can't walk in for a TD.

Horn with two broken arms would have done better than Cj or Taylor...as if they were on the take.
I legit don't get it. Is it a pain tolerance thing? Is it because he's young and doesn't want to risk it?

Not trading him for, allegedly, multiple firsts was a huge mistake.
He is a fun, young, exciting player who doesn't impact games in the way that elite players do. Comparing what he did this week to what the last legs of JJ Watt did last week is very telling.

We were playing a lot of man to man which we haven’t done much all year. And you especially don’t do that without Jaycee on the field. Wilks and his staff screwed up big time
Forgot who they were when it mattered most.
So tired of being a defense oriented team that can't play defense.

Why didn't Horn play with a wrapped cast? Was it too bad an injury to do that?

Should be rooting for SF to lose in the first round. Better draft picks for the Panthers.
If Brady is smart, he announces before the playoffs start that this is his last season. NFL will stop at nothing to give him a going away ring. One final magical ride. Brady overcoming all and winning his 8th Super Bowl as his final act.
....then change his mind in like March and do it all again next year.

Oh so you all hate Wilks now?!?!
I liked him until today. Lights got too bright and he proved he doesn't have what it takes. This Panthers team is better than that Bucs team and we lost. Too many inexcusable decisions made. I'm happy we played a meaningful football game in January for the first time in forever, but he showed that when it comes down to it, his coaching just wasn't good enough.
Do I think the team could run it back and win 8 or 9 games next year, sure. But if that's the ceiling, what's the point.

Unsatisfied with 25 years of mostly mediocre play, the Panthers invent a new way to lose today. Fumbled snap on a punt and can't even tackle a punter.
Also, with three damn timeouts, why the hell didn't they kick it deep. Set themselves up to not NEED AN ONSIDE KICK...and still onside kick it. That last drive gets a lot closer to the end zone if you're not starting at the 10.
Wilks botched the end of that game in a way that only a Panthers coach could.

Call a timeout!! Wilks needs to go!! Or he already knows!
Trying to score without taking one, giving the defense a shot.

20 in the 4th. Wilks is done.

I still hope they keep Wilks
I don't. He coached that game scared and didn't have his team ready to play. Letting Brady destroy you like that and making 0 adjustments, he deserves to be gone. Had a fun run, but let Mike Evans put up 207. Moving on.

I will never forget those Evan's TDs. We would have won had we been smart, and that's not hindsight. I was screaming to watch out and get safety help over there.
Those 3 TD's likely play a huge role in him not getting retained. Failure to adjust and give Brady the same look is inexcusable.

What a disappointing way to end a disappointing season. This team has a history of just not showing up when it matters. Doesn't matter who the owner is, coach is, home or away, it's the same story every damn year.

He's going to be doing that to every NFL corner in a couple years too.
Whoever gets Stroud better try like hell to get Harrison when he comes out. They need to be the next Burrow and Chase.

Gonna be a lot of picks traded to get Stroud...if he doesn't go 1st outright.

Panthers v. Jaguars

Especially when QB sneak with a mountain of bodies pushing from behind is about as automatic as it has ever been. Punting on 4th and inches from midfield is just bad football.
