The Darnold to the Vikings.

I think she just wanted his happy meal. She looked pretty hungry.

Pay me 5.75M and I'll be happy to be part of the senior citizens brigade.
Yep, I would drop passes, or not block anyone for a lot cheaper than what they're payin.

One of the only good things about having a sh*t roster is that you wont miss any player. You could assemble a roster of senior citizens and be the worst team in the NFL.

I’m not sure that narrative works. He said they were busting Tepper’s balls because he wife was a Stroud person. That implies Dave liked Young IMO.
He also looks foolish if it appears his wife is making our picks. I don't care who makes the decisions as long as they are the right ones to be honest.
It is convenient that "the guy that just got fired" seems to take all the blame though. Over and over again yet the team still sucks.

Yeah, smells of "last guy sucked, this mess was his, don't blame me".
Seen this in workplaces far too often.
Same thing happened with Hurney then Rhule. Sounds like pr to me.

Really makes me think that Scott Fitterer and his team really rang the bell for Bryce.
I could see Tepper taking him on it last year, especially with it being Fitterer’s “first year” managing the roster.
Hell didn’t somebody even write about how he compared him to Russell Wilson or something pre-draft.It seems the Panther's are doing everything they can to put all the blame on Fitts. Who really knows who's responsible but its a little fishy for sure.

1 Re-sign Jansen, Luvu and Burns
1a. If unable to resign Burns to reasonable deal, franchise him, if unable to trade let him play out franchise tag or try to trade him mid season.
2 Extend DB
3 Sign Calvin Ridley backup Curtis Samuel
4 Sign Rasheed Shaheed backup Mack Hollins
5. Sign Trent Brown for depth
6. Sign a random Guard (pick anyone)
7. See if YGM comes back on a low cost one year deal to prove last year wasn't a fluke, otherwise sign vet pass rusher
8. Try like hell to trade Hayden Hurst and Miles Sanders (won't happen)
Did this mock earlier; you guys will hate it but this team desperately needs to build from the inside to out right now, we are NOT one to two sexy WR's away from being good.

Maybe he wants to fall in the draft and not go to a sh*t team?

Kelce would pull a Gronk and just retire.
Can you imagine going from Mahomes to Young? That would be like trading in your Lambo for a Ford Escort.

Think about…who originally had the first pick going into the 2023 draft.
my point being that Justin Fields wasn’t lighting it up either in 2022 but people on this board are claiming it’s because the team was bad but won’t give Bryce that benefit.
Im pointing out the hypocrisy more than anything. Not trashing Fields.
Well one has the physical ability to be an NFL QB and one doesn't. Fields might become a better player but Young will always struggle physically. That's the difference.

Why? So we can go 7-10 every year? If he's not going to be great I hope he is terrible so we can just move on.

I would take Howell all day over Young but we would need to include some draft picks to make it happen.

I would grade it as embarrassing.

Maybe Burns should have not expected such a high amount. I am all for paying what players are worth, but some get greedy and price themselves out.
Our front office are the ones who set his value so high by turning down 2 1sts and a 2nd for him. That's Bosa level trade value. I don't blame him at all for getting what he can. The Panthers chose to be in this position.

We need guards way worse at the moment. Icky will look like a LT if the qb can step up in the pocket.

Sounds like they should both lose a 1st round pick to me!
