Network is prolly pissed the panthers don't have a pick so they don't get an extra commercial break.

I too believe a lot of people will be forced to admit they were wrong about Bryce. I can't wait to see it.
That would be so awesome! I'm begging him to prove me wrong.

It’s really the only one that matters. No raw 2nd round edge rusher is going to do much in the grand scheme of things for us. CB? Sign Gilmore if it’s that big of a deal
This organization needs to find out what they have in Bryce this season. They absolutely should be double dipping at WR. If Bryce ain’t it then at least the next guy has a fighting chance
This is an offensive league. You’re never going to have a complete team. You’re always going to have a weakness. Every year the league changes rules in hopes of more points being scored. Our offense was downright awful last year and people still want to spend picks on defense… I don’t get it.
We need great players period and we are void on both sides of the ball. I would rather have an above average DE/CB than a below average WR. I do hope the BPA is a WR though.

The cousins contract should be terminated and they should be ineligible to offer him another contract
Why should they get rewarded like that?

I'll go with Ladd and JPJ. I think they would both be able help the team right away.

Is Bryce really that smart or is that just the narrative for him? I did not really see much evidence last season that he is smarter at QB than any other JAG we have been trotting out there lately.
Wanting smart football players is like wanting your lawyer to have a fast 40 time. It's nice but not necessary.

I would pass on Nix but Penix would be hard to pass on.

I wouldn’t deny Hurney was better, but the gap ain’t that big. Yea Hurney drafted some really good players in the first but he still had some misses there. If we’re going to fault Fitterer for Horn’s injury history, we have to give Hurney a big L on Otah.
Hurney drafted Newton and Fitts drafted Young.....
That's a big gap.

Just think how many Huddlers who would've given up on Peyton Manning after his first season. I can almost see all the premature posts deriding one of the best ever.
If Young would have broken the rookie passing record like Manning we would all be excited.

That QB play got a 32, 33 year old receiver over 1k yards, with an OL that wasn't much help.
The blind hate is wild, go watch the QB School breakdowns and at least educate yourselves. The scheme was straight ass.
Blind hate lol...unfortunately I very clearly saw every game last year.

The verdict on Mingo is far from being in.
Yes with the qb play last year it was impossible to evaluate him.

Yeah, people forget the hype and talk last offseason. Fittterer was highly praised here overall.
I just didn’t see it then. Don’t see it now. Last time I really was optimistic was Rhule’s first year in that Covid season. Suspect every offseason since.
and that excitement came crashing down when we signed Teddy.

Honestly though, it could easily happen if Bryce doesn't improve. The defense is definitely worse. And those offensive additions won't mean a whole lot if we don't have at least average QB play.
I agree with the overall approach of focusing on the offense. But we could definitely be worse than last year.
I do think it will be very hard for Young now that the NFL has so much tape on him. A sophomore slump is highly probable in my opinion.

It would be hard to be worse than the worst team in the NFL like we were last year. So I will go with better. lol

But there are also those that use the argument simply because they don't like the QB for whatever reason.
The reason would be that they lose all the time.

Here we go with the "hot takes" again. True - Bryce doesn't have an elite arm, but he DOES have a good arm. More than adequate for the NFL.
Why does Dalton have to come in for hail marys? Can you name any other nfl starting qb that gets taken out for hail marys?

Soo, new kick off rules, and tackling is now illegal (the hip drop).
Not even sure why special teams still exists at this point. They're on their way to eliminating defenses all together.
Not sure how much long I'll continue to give a damn about the NFL at all.
The Panthers sucking so bad is at least making it easier to just say fug it.

We've spent 5 years of subpar football. We have a young GM and Coach both who seem to be on the same page. I get your pessimism but if our defense can keep it close. I think this year's offense is only going upwards. It will depend on Young.
That's why its hard to get excited.
