I agree, but that's pretty hard on the players that want to win. Starting Young is like waving a white flag, there will be a mutiny eventually. Not an easy situation for a new coach.

I think with all the tape the NFL has on Young, he is headed for a sophomore slump.

Young on many occasions looked like the worst player on the field though.That would never happen with peak Brady or Montana. They could both play under center, do QB sneaks, Hail Marys, accurate deep passes, great footwork and pocket awareness, tons of moxie. All things Young lacks. 
 

Young was one of the primary reasons we were so bad this year. Maybe he can turn it around but it would have to be one of the most miraculous 180s the sports world has seen.

Who cares, the Panthers wont be competitive for at least 2-3 years  and he will retire by then.

I think we would probably win 6-8 games with Stroud. No playoffs but Stroud probably still wins OROY here.

Only way I’d trade down is if we got a later second plus a 2025 2nd. We won’t be good next year so great 2025 picks are great value to us. We don’t need more picks, we need picks to turn into impact players because we have Brown in 2024 and that’s it. Luvu and Brown aren’t even under contract yet. The entire rest of our team is replaceable. The top teams have more pro bowlers than we have non-JAGs. I’d think about adding Horn but he’d have to play a full year first.

Yes, no more trades unless some team wants to drastically over pay.

Our D balled out that game. If we switched QBs we would have beaten them even worse.
