  1. After cutting KK Short today we saved $8,603,250 in cap, and will eat $11,017,000 in dead cap this season. Total dead cap so far in 2021 is right at $20,172,807 thanks to a few players on the books including KK. Top 3 in dead cap for next season is below: Kawaan Short: $11,017,000 Luke Kuechly: $7,132,514 Graham Gano: $1,537,500 Total Cap spending currently before any more Cuts or Restructures: $141,552,411 The cap is rumored to be around 180 million which will leave us right at $38,447,589 in cap currently before any other moves are made. Next season we will be in wonderful shape with Cap, and should have a Teddy 2 gloves off the books as well other than his dead cap hit.
